2 Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket is one of the only few resorts to be set directly on the sands of Karon Beach, and offers a wealth of facilities and activities for guests of all ages.

3 Taking its architectural inspiration from the classic Sino-Portuguese style that is so characteristic of Phuket, the resort offers a totally engaging holiday experience, complete with a thrill-filled water park featuring a total of four pools. ACCOMMODATION All 262 elegantly appointed rooms, suites and villas are designed in a Sino-Portuguese décor and feature a furnished balcony or terrace facing the beach and the Andaman Sea. Most room categories offer a choice of either a king bed or two double beds, making the resort ideal for both couples and families. Each guestroom ensures unrivalled comfort with a minimum total living space of 49 square metres and bathroom with both shower and bathtub or alternatively an outdoor Jacuzzi. Pool suites feature up to 83 square metres of living space while the grand one- and two-bedroom pool villas are located in the resort s most secluded area for absolute privacy. The Club offers exclusive facilities and services including private Club Lounge access and Centara signature service of three complimentary daily meal presentations, beverages, concierge service and complimentary wireless internet access. FACILITIES AND SERVICES Besides relaxing on the beach, the leisure facilities include four swimming pools with children s pool and an extensive water park complete with a lazy river, waterfalls, waterslides and Jacuzzi pool. Younger guests are well taken care of with the professionally supervised Kids Club*, featuring Camp Safari for the youngsters and E-Zone for the teens, together with a children s playground. Guests looking for a dash of action will enjoy water sports, with kayaking, windsurfing and sailing available at the resort. Diving lessons can be arranged while use of snorkelling equipment is complimentary. Recreational facilities include a fully-equipped fitness centre, tennis court, herbal steam room, and sauna, while award-winning SPA Cenvaree offers a luxurious venue for traditional aromatherapy and therapeutic massages, in addition to a relaxation lounge, pedicure and manicure salon and facilities for Vichy applications. RESTAURANTS AND BARS The Cove, located on the beachfront and featuring live cooking stations, serves international and Asian melting-pot cuisines with indoor and outdoor seating. With its own bar and wine room, Mare is the resort s signature Italian restaurant overlooking the beach. Guests will enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in the evenings with pizzas and pastas during the day. COAST Beach Club & Bistro offers Mediterranean flavours and an alluring selection of cocktails to be enjoyed along with panoramic views of Karon Beach and the sea beyond. Luna features a large outdoor terrace with lounge-style seating and an indoor bar and lounge serving light meals including Mediterranean and Asian Tapas. Splash is the main swim-up bar while Ripples serves snacks and refreshments at the edge of the adults pool. Lobby Lounge has wide ocean views, and offers specialty coffees, tropical cocktails and refreshments. In-room dining is also available. MEET AND UNITE Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket is one of the prime conference and meeting venues on the island. With 576 square metres plus a pre-function area of 240 square metres, Phuket Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 780 persons and is divisible into two equal parts. Colombus, Santiago and Madalena are the three meeting rooms adjacent to Phuket Grand Ballroom. The two boardrooms located on the first floor, Marco Polo and Vera Cruz are suitable for up to 15 persons each seated U-shape style.
