Public Hearing - After approval, a public hearing will be scheduled Early to mid-summer would be the earliest for this meeting. ROW - Acquisition cannot begin until the public hearing is complete and comments are addressed. The ROW for Phase I has been surveyed and ready for acquisition. Phase II has not been surveyed or mapped. Construction Plans - Construction plan development has started by a design section in our TxDOT Dallas District Office. We have met with them to discuss specifics of the project as their work progresses. Funding - The SH 31 relief route is not fully funded at this time. We have met with the Dallas Deputy District Engineer, the City of Corsicana and Navarro County to discuss funding alternatives to accelerate the project. Letting - Tentative letting date for Phase I is October Phase II is planned for a later date.
