Take a guided tour through each step of the pizza making process from the cheese to the toppings to the crust. This class allows you to develop a game concept that goes well beyond the limitations of the traditional 2D game design classes. Students will learn the physics behind 3D games, explore beginner event scripting, level design, controlling flow of gameplay, and storytelling. Student created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Ecology Explorers Youth Camp Ecology Explorers Camp is an exciting week of fun-filled activities at COCC and other outdoor learning centers. Students will explore various aircraft and learn how they fly, understand how weather affects flying, and discover careers in aviation. 7 New! The Curious Case of the Runaway Snake: A Forensic Science Youth Camp Eek! Our pet snake is missing from the COCC Science Department! Explore biology, chemistry and physics as you solve this mystery. Identify animal tracks, use microscopes, search for fingerprints, analyze the chemistry of ink, identify suspects from blood, and learn other forensic science skills. Use all of the clues and your observations to solve the mystery by the end of the camp. Each day, students will discover new evidence and record their observations in their forensic journals. From South American Empanadas to Indian Samosas and on to the Italian Calzone, gain an international understanding of this popular fare.
