1 London Campus Alternatives to SELT INTO Stirling and Stirling London Alternatives to SELT at NQF 6+ Time since qualification Notes In order to be accepted, the qualification will require to have been secured in a recent timeframe - typically in two years of the start date of the course The University will accept those qualifications on the UKVI Secure Language Test which are also included on the University list. Any other qualifications on the UKVI list will be considered on a case by case basis. Any preparation or course e.g. foundation, pre-masters course or pre-sessional validated by a UK university which clearly shows all competencies or an nt will be acceptable as evidence of competency Update April 2015: Changes to Secure Language Tests The UK Government has made changes to its list of qualifications approved as being Secure Language Tests (SELT). These changes are for visa applications submitted from the 6 April 2015 onwards. Language Qualifications We Accept The UK Government allows universities to accept Language qualifications that are not on the approved SELT list for entry. Please note that this applies only to Undergraduate or Postgraduate level courses.
