Collect the Our Family UPC barcodes from your supporters. 3. Your organization earns 5 cents for EACH UPC barcode that is redeemed from Nash Finch Company. Get started today! When you receive your checks, your school, church or organization is free to spend the money any way they want. New textbooks, band uniforms, computer programs, art supplies; many ways to support. Save Our Family During the school year, just save the barcodes from Our Family products. You will earn $25.00 in cash for each bundle of 500 UPC barcodes sent to us. Please send us the Our Family Labels for Learning Bonus* Certificate (worth an additional $25.00 with your bundle of 500 Our Family UPC barcodes.) Each group may redeem only one Bonus Certificate. The Bonus Certificate is valid when redeemed with the first 500 Our Family UPC barcodes from your group's collection. 7 Saving Tadych s Econofoods Register Grocery Receipts How it Works: 1. Customers (supporters) will save their register grocery receipts (does not include receipts from the service counter stamps, gift cards, etc). 2. Customers (supporters) will give the receipts to their favorite not-for-profit organization (such as yours). 3. Your organization will bring the receipts to Tadych s Econofoods for a 1% cash donation. Your Organization is Required to: 1. Place all in-tact grocery receipts in bundles of $1,000 with calculator tape. 2. Have a master tape with the total dollar amount of all the bundles. 3. Provide your organization s name, contact person, address, & phone number. 4. Receipts can be collected year round. However, bring the receipts & paperwork to Tadych s Econofoods service counter in January and/or July. 5. Checks will be mailed within the week. 4

9 Tadych s Econofoods Scrip Gift Cards Tadych s Econofoods will offer your organization a 3% profit for each gift card purchased. For example: Your organization purchases scrip gift cards in increments of $1,000 for only $970. These scrip gift cards are then sold to your supporters for face value. Your organization profits $30 per $1,000 sold. Please note: Script gift cards must be purchased in blocks of $1,000. How it Works: Script gift cards are available in denominations of $25, $50, & $100. Payment for these scrip gift cards must be made at the time of your order with a check from your organization (personal checks will not be accepted). Make check payable to Tadych s Econofoods. Your organization s scrip gift cards will be available for pick up at the service counter the following day (Monday thru Friday). Each organization is responsible for marketing & sales, taking orders, collecting money, and keeping track of the scrip gift cards. Sell the script gift cards to your supporters for the full gift card value. Remember: Your organization earns a 3% profit! Points of Interest: Scrip gift cards work like cash. Lost or stolen script gift cards cannot be voided or replaced. Scrip gift cards are redeemable at all six Tadych s Econofoods locations AND all Nash Finch supplied grocery stores. 6

11 Making Econo Cares Work for YOU!! Your organization can get the best Bang for your Buck by taking advantage of ALL three programs! 1. Scrip Gift Cards: When your organization sells $100,000 in scrip gift cards in a year (your cost $97,000) your group will make $ ! Many families will spend over $100 a week for groceries. When one family purchases scrip gift cards from you, your organization will earn at least $156 for the year ($3 x 52 weeks = $156) Do this for just 10 families & earn $ for the year..20 families, $ !! 2. Saving Tadych s Econofoods Register Receipts: When you turn in $100,000 of your groups register receipts your organization will earn $ ! 3. Labels for Learning: Now, save & turn in all the Our Family UPC s & add to your earnings! If you turn in 10,000 labels at 5 cents each you ll collect an additional $ for your organization! It s as easy as one two three! Using the examples above, your group would earn: 1. $ 3,000 with scrip gift cards 2. $ 1,000 with register receipts 3. $ 500 with labels for learning $ 4,500 Total Good luck with your fundraising efforts!! 8
