1 NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 90/11 Proclamation providing for the Holding of a General Election under the Elections Act, 1991 (O.C ) (Filed September 19, 2011) ELIZABETH THE SECOND, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom, Canada and Her Other Realms and Territories QUEEN, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith. JOHN C. CROSBIE Lieutenant Governor DONALD BURRAGE Deputy Attorney General TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETING; A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS by Our Proclamation dated the 19 th day of September, 2011, We did dissolve the Forty-Sixth General Assembly of Our Province of Newfoundland and Labrador; AND WHEREAS it is Our Will and Pleasure to summon and call a General Assembly within Our said Province and for that purpose to direct the issue of Writs of Election for a General Election of Members to serve in the House of Assembly of Our said Province; AND WHEREAS under the authority of section 57 of the Elections Act, 1991 (the "Act"), We are empowered to direct the issuance of a Writ of Election for the election of Members to the House of Assembly; NOW KNOW YE that We do by this Our Proclamation direct that a Writ of Election for each of the Electoral Districts hereinafter mentioned be issued; AND WE DO further direct Extraordinary Gazette 5 September 19, 2011

THAT a Writ of Election for the said Election be issued for each Electoral District in the Province; and 5. THAT the Writ of Election for each Electoral District shall be issued on Monday, the 19 th day of September, 2011, and be returnable at the time and in the manner prescribed by Division E of the Act, together with the return of the person to whom the writ is directed endorsed thereon, and all other documents and other things required to be transmitted to the Chief Electoral Officer by virtue thereof.
