1 ISAP IS W STEREO/ W MONO DIGITAL AUDIO AMPLIFIER WITH BANDS EQ FUNCTIONS, DRC AND.CH MODE DESCRIPTION The ISAP is an IS digital audio amplifier capable of driving W (BTL) each to a pair of 8Ω speakers and W (PBTL) to a Ω speaker operating at V supply without external heat-sink or fan. The ISAP is also capable of driving Ω, W(SE)x+8Ω, W(BTL)x at V supply for.ch application. The ISAP can provide advanced audio processing functions, such as volume control, EQ bands, audio mixing, D surround sound and Dynamic Range Control (DRC),programmable via a simple IC control interface. Robust protection circuits are provided to protect the ISAP from damage due to accidental erroneous operating conditions. The full digital circuit design of ISAP is more tolerant to noise and PVT (Process, Voltage, and Temperature) variation than analog Class-AB or Class-D audio amplifiers. In addition, its robust built-in anti-pop circuitry enables pop free operation during instantaneous power on/off or mute/shut down switching. Caution: Do not turn on the power supply until all connections are completed. ) Connect the power supply to connector JDC or header JP. ) Connect as: a. Stereo (.) mode: select JP8 = L, connect a pair of 8Ω speakers to the L (JP) connector and R (JP9) connector. b..ch mode: select JP8 = L, connect a pair of Ω W speakers to the SE_R connector (JP) and SE_L connector (JP). Connect an 8Ω W speaker to R (JP9). c. Mono mode: select JP8 = H, connect a Ω W or 8Ω W speaker to MONO connector (JP) ) Connect an audio source to the audio connector (.mm stereo plug) J. ) Turn on the power supply. ) ISAP s default setting is mute and.ch stereo mode.
