COMPANY OVERVIEW Over 25 years of pawn-focused growth Strong balance sheet and cash flows Significant expansion opportunities 25 YEARS OF LEADERSHIP IN THE PAWN INDUSTRY Founded in 1988 Based in Arlington, TX Public in 1992 Current market cap of $1.7 billion, largest market cap of any pawn operator U.S. Operations 300 stores 12 U.S. states Mexico Operations Started with 4 pawn stores in 1999 Currently operating 588 stores in 26 states in Mexico Largest full-service, large format pawn operator in Mexico 2

PAWN IS DOMINENT BUSINESS First Cash is uniquely positioned as the only pure pawn operator in its peer group All of its peers generate significant revenue from payday, payroll, title and installment lending products Largest source of peer revenue growth Subject to much greater regulatory scrutiny Less than 7% of First Cash revenues are related to payday or title lending COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT First Cash is more pawn-focused with better balance between U.S. and LatAm markets % Pawn revenues* *First Cash and Cash America revenues for trailing twelve months ended September 30, 2013 EZ Pawn and DFC Global revenues for trailing twelve months ended June 30, 2013 Credito Real and Compartamos revenues for trailing twelve months ended December 31, 2012 % LatAm revenues* 4

FIRST CASH IS UNIQUE We keep it simple 93% pawn-based business Proven and scalable business model Pawn operations are under less regulatory scrutiny than payday/installment operations Operates in two countries with virtually the same business model and format Currently 300 stores in the U.S. Currently 588 stores in Mexico Continued growth potential in both markets Opportunity to expand this proven model to other Latin American countries MEXICO OPERATIONS 5

MEXICO REMAINS UNDERBANKED An estimated 70% of population is unbanked or under-banked Per capita consumer credit remains very low in comparison to U.S. and other LatAm countries Mexico remains a cashdriven society Even employees paid on company-issued debit cards quickly covert funds to cash Typical payday lines in Mexico: lines form at ATMs for cash withdrawals COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE IN MEXICO U.S.-BASED OPERATORS Large format store count (1) (2) (1) EZCorp(EZPW) In June, announced store closings in Mexico: 52 small format stores 5 large format stores Approximately 12% of revenue derived out of Mexico in 2012 Cash America (CSH) Fall 2012, announced significant store closings in Mexico 148 mostly small format stores No large format openings in 2013; limited number planned in 2014 (1) As of September 30, 2013 (2) As of June 30,

COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE: NOT-FOR-PROFIT FOUNDATIONS Best known is Monte de Piedad, with approximately 300 stores Others include Montepio Rafael Donde and Luz Savinon Lower interest rates, but also low loan to value ratios Multiple steps required to obtain appraisal and fund loans takes significantly more time than a transaction at First Cash Limited focus on retail operations due in part to very high redemption rates COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE: OTHER DOMESTIC OPERATORS Privately-held, for-profit operators Primarily small-format, jewelry-only operators Over 4,000 such locations, ranging from single stores to several larger chains of stores Under significant pressure due to saturation and declining gold prices with many for sale and/or closing a significant number of locations Other Elektra: jewelry-only pawn kiosks Famsa: recently acquired MonteMexjewelry-only chain in order to build out bank branch network 7
