2 Important Notice Practical info on travel costs Travels: what costs are covered by the SUNRISE project? No. of persons for partner: 1 If more persons are coming over, his/her travel costs won t be covered by the SUNRISE project. Travel costs covered by the project: Flight tickets. Accommodation (3 nights Thursday 19 th, Friday 20 th and Saturday 21 th ) & subsistence. Local transport (bus/train is preferred). If you want to stay longer, the additional costs (accommodation & subsistence) will not be covered by the SUNRISE project. Moreover, the flight costs will be covered only if you can prove that the fees are cheaper on the extended departure date than on Sunday 22 th. You will need two offers from the travel agency to substantiate this. Budget available. Below you can see the estimated costs for the different costs: o Accommodation & subsistence: each partner has 378. o Flight tickets/local transport (bus/train): we estimated the following costs (of course, this is only an estimative budget, but the closer it gets to this, the better for the cash flow of the project. RAPA: 60 /30 Camino: 200 /72 CERES: 200 /72 ASL: 300 /72 Bornholm: 350 /72 COASTLINE: 300 /72 Mellow: 200 /72 Alive: 500 /72 AS: 200 /72 Travel costs: practical tips for reporting the costs incurred The costs you incur must be identifiable and verifiable, in particular recorded in the beneficiary s accounts in accordance with the accounting standards applicable in the country where the beneficiary is established and with the beneficiary s usual cost accounting practices. (You should keep with you all the invoices, receipts and boarding pass). Travel and subsistence costs must be consistent with the Beneficiary s usual policy for travel. (e.g. use of first class tickets, reimbursement by the Beneficiary on the basis of actual costs, a lump sum or per diem). Normally, each country sets a ceiling for Accomodation & Subsistance costs when using public funds (like EU Grants). Please, check your national legislation to be sure that you are under such ceilings. For support on this issue in particular (but also for any financial issue in general), please contact your Horizon2020 National Contact Point (NCP) for Legal and Financial Issues. Tell them that you are beneficiary of a COSME grant and that you need guidance on financial issues (like travel costs). 4 How to get to the location? Location & Accommodation How to Location get the Las Palmas City (Beach Area)? & Arriving from the Airport If you arrive via plane, you will need to take the Airport Busses that run from the Airport. For that you will have to leave the terminal and take the bus outside. The Bus you need to take is number 60. You have two different Accommodation connections. Both are the same bus line but the final stop is different. One bus goes only to the old town centre (San Telmo) and you will need to take another bus to Santa Catalina (Beach Area). Or you take the one that directly goes to Santa Catalina. From there you can easily walk to your hotel and/or the meeting venue. Here is the timetable for line 60 from the Airport to San Telmo/Santa Catalina. Note that boards and Sport Equipment can go on GLOBAL Busses. Arriving from the harbour Ferries from Cadiz or from Fuerteventura will come directly to the harbour/beach area. Once off the boot you can walk easily to the beach area ,13z?hl=de 4

Most of them can offer an amazing sea view, a spacious terrace perfect to chill out with style after ripping the best surfspots of Gran Canaria. Apartments are available from Asociacion Pura Vida:

6 Team Building & Social Dinner On the first evening (Friday 20 th ) we will organize a team building event (17h45) and afterwards have a social dinner (19h00). Please note that the social dinner will be covered by your project budget and registration is preferred. The venue of the social dinner will be announced during the Kick Off Meeting. Social Events Barbecues On Saturday after signing the official documents of the Green Room Surf Alliance, to round up the Kick Off Meeting we propose a Barbeque in a relaxing atmosphere. The expenses are paid by the ULPGC. At night we can go to live concerts on the Ruta playa viva, where in las Canteras Beach Areas Open Air Concerts are given for free. 6
