We had World Cup winners from four different countries, athletes of five different nations finished in the Top 10 overall standings and the level of competition improved significantly. From my point of view, it was important that no athletes suffered serious injuries in events, and it speaks for the quality of the athletes. Total 14 individual competitions by eight different organizers lined up in our calendar with only one event in Zao (JPN) having been cancelled. The fight for the World Cup Overall title was also a tight one in an unprecedented manner and exciting till the end of the season. Daniela Iraschko-Stolz won her first ever crystal trophy with her excellent performance (total 5 World Cup wins). The Nations Cup title as well went to her strong team, Team Austria, which has three athletes in the Top 10 of the World Cup Standing. There is no doubt that a highlight of this Season was the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun (SWE). The title of the World Champion went to the Olympic Winner 2014, Carina Vogt (GER). She was able to repeat her astonishing performance in the biggest FIS event of The mixed team competition was also thrilling, and Team Norway won their first gold medals in this discipline. The events were successfully and well-organized. Our special thanks go to the organizer, all volunteers and officials, who did great jobs for these excellent preparations. Congratulations to the OC Oberstdorf, who were hosts of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Ladies for the first time. The events attracted so many spectators as well as media members. Special thanks go to the organizer and the German Ski Federation, who gave us an opportunity to hold the World Cup with the highest standard of Men s World Cup events. We used our high tech laser to beat line and it made our competitions more attractive for our spectators on site. Furthermore, our particular appreciation goes to all organizers and national ski associations who are involved in Ladies Ski Jumping. Without their efforts, support and will, we could have never shown such attractive and exciting World Cup competitions in 2014/15. Last but not least, we appreciate the strong support from our partners, sponsors, organizers and all the people involved in organizing our series of FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Ladies and loving our sport. Sincerely, Chika Yoshida FIS Race Director Ladies Ski Jumping 3
