2 Cleveland Tank & Supply Thank you for your interest in our School Bus Fuel Tank Program. After numerous School Bus Garages contacted us asking for assistance in providing new tanks for their various applications we decided to investigate this market further. We have now visited many garages, talked with many mechanics and obtained numerous scrapped tanks for analysis. The end result is we have made a commitment to manufacture and inventory a variety of tanks covering many different applications. As most of you know, many changes have occurred within the bus, chassis, and certainly the many different tank manufacturers. From tanks made with galvanized steel to current carbon steel, from side mount in cages to between frame rails, behind the differential and now, with the liquid ice melt used on the highways, it can make for a confusing situation. We want to assure you that our product is of highest quality, made with US mfg. steel and manufactured by some of the best fabricators, fitters and welders we can employ. All tanks are manufactured per FHWA standards for side mount and non-side mount applications. You will find our tanks and accessories finished with a highly durable black powder coat paint. You have full access to our extensive line of accessories, which include straps and insulators. We are offering a unique warranty on our tanks, which is a three (3) year guarantee from date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship. 5 Cleveland Tank & Supply Mounting Straps and Insulators Standard Features: Heavy duty 12 gauge Hot Rolled steel, black powder coat paint, zinc plated corrosion resistant T-bolts, locknuts and washers, strap insulator specific to the strap design and tank insulator to protect bottom of tank from chafing. Straps: Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel We carry a wide variety of carbon and stainless steel T -bolt style straps in stock. You may order for immediately delivery any 1-3/4 or 2.00 wide by any length strap. Simply tell us the overall length, the width and either steel or stainless steel and we will ship promptly. All straps include nylon lock nuts and washers. Steel straps are powder coated black. The diagram to the left shows how we measure length. Our standard T-bolt is 3.00 long. We can also make straps with other t-bolts and loops with no bolts. 7 Cleveland Tank & Supply Save A Tank Program With the introduction of brine solution, mounting tanks behind the differentials and changes in steel it is our opinion tanks are wearing out prematurely. We have visited many school bus garages and discussed the problems with many mechanics that face these problems on a daily basis. Of course, we would like to sell a new tank, but you also have an option of coming to us for reconditioning of your existing tank. As a tank manufacturer we have all of the pieces and parts in stock. Our employees are true craftsman with high experience in fabrication, fitting, welding and testing. If you can identify a tank starting to fail due to rust or other problems early enough, we can bring it back to life many times at a substantially reduced cost to you. You might consider, when seeing a tank starting to fail, purchasing a new tank from us and then let us recondition your old tank. You will then have a tank ready to go for replacement and the downtime and costs are minimal. We can walk through the common problems and costs with just a phone call. We have also made a Power Point Presentation showing some of the wear problems common to school bus applications. We have identified what we believe are the common problems, what to look for and possible solutions. This CD is available to you at no charge. Attention: Tanks are for Diesel Fuel Applications Only A certification label is attached to each tank indicating conformance to CFR requirements. Installers are responsible for tanks, brackets, straps and accessories being installed in a manner that meets CFR requirements.
