Additional comments on the State of Conservation of the Property s Villa Adriana presents archaeological ruins in a carefully landscaped natural setting which rolls into a wider agricultural backdrop, an aspect important to conserve given it is what inspired generations of visitors in the last five centuries. Despite discontinuity in economic resources and high seismic exposure (tremors were felt on site from the earthquakes in Umbria, Abruzzo, Tivoli Terme last summer), we have managed to keep the monumental complex which makes up Villa Adriana in a stable state since its World Heritage inscription, and in some cases improving the condition of the site with focused conservation interventions. 6.
