Assistant Auditor (FMG/AS 1) (3 positions) - Vacant Allowance Commuted Allowance: $ 750, ,333 p.a. $ 343, p.a. Organization reviewed Financial records verified Financial and Accounting practices and procedures appraised Interviews Working papers submitted Reports drafted Key Responsibilities: Conducts reviews of assigned organization; Verifies organizational records; 1

2 Examines and appraises financial and accounting practices, systems and procedures; Clears any queries on the working paper prepared; Assists in the preparation of preliminary recommendations and drafting of reports; Sound analytical skills; Sound knowledge of the FAA Act; Good interpersonal and customer service skills; Good oral and written communication skills; Good planning and organizing skills; Ability to work in team; Working knowledge of relevant computer application. Associate Degree, AAT, ACCA-CAT or equivalent qualifications ACCA Level 1 2. Auditor (FMG/AS 2) Not Vacant Allowance Full Upkeep Allowance $ 1,052, ,250, p.a. $ 514,500.00p.a Audit conducted Audit Plan/Programme Risks assessed Reports submitted Audit interviews Competent staff Key Technical Responsibilities: Conducts operational, information technology and financial audits; Develops audit programme; 2

3 Prepares audit plans; Constructs risks matrix and apply along with other internal audit procedures and techniques; Obtains, analyses and appraises evidential data as a basis for an informed opinion; Evaluates, reviews and collates working papers and submit to supervisor; Prepares and submits audit reports; Assesses the effectiveness of the internal control systems; Interviews key personnel in the assigned organization; Excellent analytical skills; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent planning and organizing skills; Ability to lead and work in team; Working knowledge of relevant computer application; Sound knowledge of the FAA Act. First Degree preferable in Accounts, Finance, Business Administration, Management or Economics; Or ACCA Fundamentals or, equivalent and no experience; or Qualification for entry level audit position plus at least two (2) years auditing or accounting experience. 3. Senior Secretary (OPS/SS 3) - Vacant $ 736, , p.a. Meetings of the Permanent Secretary and Senior Directors organized Reports/Minutes produced Monitoring system for the Permanent Secretary s Office assets, goods and materials maintained 3

4 Telephone communication managed Filing system operational Administrative and secretarial duties performed Key Responsibilities: Conducts reviews of assigned organization; Verifies organizational records; Examines and appraises financial and accounting practices, systems and procedures; Clears any queries on the working paper prepared; Assists in the preparation of preliminary recommendations and drafting of reports; Sound analytical skills; Sound knowledge of the FAA Act; Good interpersonal and customer service skills; Good oral and written communication skills; Good planning and organizing skills; Ability to work in team; Working knowledge of relevant computer application. CXC/GCE O level English Language; successful completion of the Certificate in Administrative Management (CAM) level 2 at the Management Institute for National Development (MIND); Proficiency in typewriting at a speed of words per minute and shorthand at a speed of words per minute, plus 4-5 years general office experience. OR Graduation from an accredited school of Secretarial Studies with proficiency in typewriting at a speed of words per minute and shorthand at a speed of words per minute; Training in the use of a variety of software applications e.g. word processing, database and spreadsheets; English Language at CXC/GCE O level; completion of the appropriate Office Professional Training Course at the Management Institute for National Development (MIND) plus 4-5 years general office experience. 4
