As evident from the major milestones below, OYKA used to process paper until In consequence of the acquisition of SEKA s Çaycuma Factory, the company became capable to produce paper also. 1963: Adana Paper Bag Factory was commissioned within the scope of Çitosan. 1998: became one of OYAK s affiliates. 2002: started to provide its services under the name OYKA Paper Packaging Inc. June 2003: acquisition of SEKA s Çaycuma Factory from the Turkish privatization administration to reach an integrated structure capable of both paper and Kraft bag production. August 2008: commissioning of the Çaycuma Paper Bag Factory. Currently, Kraft paper and Kraft bag productions continue at Çaycuma, along with Kraft bag productions in Adana.

3 Sayfa 3 OYKA Paper Packing Factories Çaycuma Cellulose and Kraft Paper Factory The Çaycuma Plant is Turkey s first and only integrated Kraft paper factory, with an annual paper production capacity reaching up to tons. Productions at the Çaycuma Factory include Brown Kraft Cellulose, Brown Kraft, Klupak Kraft Bag Paper, and Kraftliner. Trees that have completed their useful economic life or have been obtained during forest thinning procedures are, among others, utilized for the production of Kraft paper. OYKA Paper Packing Factories Çaycuma Paper Bag Factory The 8-color printing-machine at the Çaycuma Factory was the first of its kind in Turkey placed at the disposal of food, seeds, chemicals, minerals, plaster, and cement sectors. In July 2011, a new PE valve bag production line was commissioned to increase the factory s capacity by 70 million/year; thus elevating the factory s overall capacity to the level of 140 million pieces annually. All our factories are operated with a mentality that fulfills the requirements of our quality management system made possible by the dedicated collaboration of our employees, provides training opportunities for our employees to improve themselves, and aims at continuous improvement of our products and services, combined with an everlasting care to customer satisfaction. Adana Paper Bag Factory Commissioned in 1963, the Adana Paper Bag Factory is currently capable to produce 80 million bags a year.

Kraft paper is an environment-friendly packaging material that is obtained from natural raw materials and can be recycled for reuse many times. Other products utilized for similar purposes as Kraft paper do not dissolve in nature for long periods of time, posing a risk to both environment and human health. The use of paper gains increased importance with regard to the protection of natural life and leave a healthier environment to next generations. In this sense, Kraft paper is and will be a very important material for the packaging sector thanks to its highly resistant structure.
