3 MEASURING AND REGISTRATION TABLE Carpet washing laundries generally spend a lot of time measuring carpets and subsequently managing and processing the collected data. Catinet has developed a unique time saving carpet measuring and registration table, which in a few seconds measures the length and width of a carpet. The unique data and information linked to each individual carpet is stored in a database and can easily be processed on a connected PC or laptop. By connecting a bar code reader to the system the carpet registration and handling processes can be made even easier. The machine automatically rolls up the carpet after the measuring and registration processes. Maximum carpet width of standard model: 300 cm. DUST REMOVER This extraordinary machine removes the dust, sand and other loose particles, which sit deep in the carpet between the carpet s fibers. Dust and particle removal is a vital element of the thorough and professional carpet washing process. Rotating horizontal cylinders apply a mechanical vibrating action to the carpet loosening the embedded dust and other particles, which are then removed from the carpet by a powerful vacuum and self-cleaning filter system. The strength of the mechanical action on the carpet is adjustable enabling removal of dust and particles from even very delicate carpets. After the cleaning process the machine automatically rolls up the carpet. Maximum carpet width of standard models: 300 or 400 cm.

4 WASHING TRAIN Catinet s washing train, which delivers an extraordinary and unmatched cleanness, integrates several complex and patented cleaning processes into one machine: pre-wash, washing, rinsing and automatic carpet roll-up. The washing train automatically adjusts the area where the wash action is applied, by 6-18 rotating brushes, to fit the exact size of the individual carpet. This provides significant savings of water, detergent, energy and time in the cleaning processes. Integrated water recycling system and built-in electronic variable-flow detergent pumps are standard features of Catinet s washing trains. Catinet s washing train has a production capacity of up till 140 m 2 of carpet per hour, which can t be achieved by any other carpet washing method. Maximum carpet width of standard models: 250, 320 or 420 cm. SPIN DRAINER The free standing carpet spin drainer is among Catinet s most popular machines. Residual water, retained in the carpet after the rinsing process, is extracted from the carpet at up till rpm. Extracting residual water from the carpet shortens the carpet drying period by several days. The spin drainer is built with oversized vibration absorbers and equipped with an out-of-balance safety system preventing damages to the machine if the machine is not properly loaded by the operator. The world s first carpet spin drainer was built by Catinet in The original machine is still in active use in a carpet laundry in Mallorca, Spain. 5 DRYING RACK In order to maximize the utilization of the space available for drying of the carpets in the laundry facility and ease the handling of the drying carpets Catinet has developed a hugely popular mechanized carpet drying rack. The wet carpets are by the push of a button automatically uploaded at one end of the drying rack and downloaded at the other end after drying. The drying capacity of a 20 meter long standard drying rack is approximately 250 carpets. The drying rack, which is typically mounted in a dedicated carpet drying room, consists of a number of mechanically ascending/descending and horizontally moving stainless steel bars (carpet hangers). The carpet hangers are suspended from a conveyer system, which is supported by a robust floor-mounted steel structure. Maximum carpet width of standard model: 400 cm. DRYING ROOM Catinet offers a custom made drying room, which is an insulated, heated and ventilated sandwich panel structure built around the drying rack. Temperature, air flow and ventilation are controlled by a computer system creating the optimal air flow and temperature conditions for drying carpets. The carpet drying time can be reduced to just a few hours under the optimal conditions. Each drying room is built by Catinet to fit the individual customer s requirements and laundry premises.

6 FINISHING AND PACKAGING TABLE The finishing and packaging table has been designed to ease the final handling of the washed carpets and deliver the perfect finish. Rotating brushes and a powerful vacuum suction system lift the carpet s pile and straighten the fringes so they are lying properly before the carpet is packed. Conveyer belts move the carpet through the finishing processes and finally roll up the carpet for packaging. This table ensures the perfect finish and great customer satisfaction. Maximum carpet width of standard models: 330 or 440 cm. TRANSPORTATION TABLE (CARRO) The Carro is a heavy-duty transportation table entirely built of stainless steel and especially designed to ease the handling and transfer of carpets between the various machines in the carpet laundry.
