1 MANUAL of MINI DVR 1. WELCOME Thank you for purchasing the MINI DVR. It is suitable for small monitor place where with low demand of real-time recording and high demand of low cost, such as store, supermarket, hotel, little quarter, school, and net cafe and family using. The following product manual will help you to install and operate your new device. Please be sure to fully read the directions before proceeding to use your new MINI DVR. 2. 2 5. Operation Instruction 1) First-time Setup: A. Prepare a TF Card which capacity between 256MB to 16GB, and make sure the inside data you don't need anymore. B. Insert the TF card and power on the camera. If the card never use before the camera will format the card and create a new File System. That will take time which depends on the capacity and Write-in speed of the card. Usually it s taking 30 second for a 2GB card, and 1 minute for a 4GB card. And if the card is not the first time to work with the device, it won t take that long. Meanwhile the blue LED and the green LED will flash; if the formation of card is done the device will start working. C. In order to guarantee the TF card can be operate right, we advice to use the software which in the CD to read the information of the card after take video for 10 second. If the document can play right, which means the card is ready to use. D. After all the process above, power on the device, it will start working. 2) Explanation of Normal working status A. The MINI DVR will shoot automatically 1 frame images in every two minutes and store them if there aren t any moving objects appears in the view. B. The MINI DVR will shoot continually until the moving targets disappeared and freeze completely if there has

3 any moving object appears in the view. C. This device allowed the electricity power cut off in a short time. It will shoot again followed the fast shooting. D. This device allowed pulls the TF card when the power is on. However, make sure the next TF card is the same one. Otherwise, it will have a bad effect on the files. Second, if the green LED flash quickly (the normal is 1 time/second), or the blue LED doesn t work when moving object appears, it shows that there s something wrong with the TF card or system. Please contact the products technology service or change a new TF card. 3) Explanation of the LED status FORMATTING WORKING RECORDING ERROR Blue LED Flash OFF On OFF GREEN LED Flash ON OFF FLASH 4) Explanation of the SWITCH Operation: A. SWITCH Functions: video playback, time settings, system information. B. In Normal Recording Status, flip into the video playback state. In this state, use the SWITCH to do the following: a) Flip or, scroll down/up the image b) Hold or 2 seconds, scroll down/up the image continually and quickly. c) Press, playback pause, or exit the state d) In 100 seconds without any press, the system will automatically return to the normal recording status " C. In Normal Recording Status, flip to enter time setting status. a) Press, select "time","minute", "Year", "month", "day" adjustment. Flip or, adjust the numbers b) In 100 seconds without any press, the system will automatically return to the normal recording status D. In Normal Recording Status, press to enter the system information display. a) a. Press, the system returns to the Normal Recording Status b) b. Important Remarks Before using this product please ensure that all accessories were included in the packaging.you will also need to insert the TF Card into the device before you are able to use it. 1) Please use TF card with 256MB-16GB, make sure it can work normally in the first time 2) When change the TF card, make sure the MINI DVR is power off 3) To guarantee the system working normal and reliable, please check if the shooting indicating light flashing normally 4) This camera can only use in indoor temperature environment, not outdoor equipment or special equipment. 5) If there is anything break down with the MINI DVR, please contact with us and send back for maintenance with the product guarantee card 7. Video view operation 1) Take out the TF card from the camera, Use the SD card reader with PC and check the files. File system declare as follow: A. Index.cfg system file. Normal user doesn t need to mention this file. B. Record_x.tag Record file, the storage capacity nearly same as TF card 2) Play Record_x.tag file by ibox Player A. Click [load file], select the Recodr_0.tag file form the TF card. B. Click the [play], the player start to play the stored image C. Drag the [play speed slider] can adjust the play speed D. When pause, click [image chose] front and back key, you can the current position image E. Drag the [playing process slider] can quickly jump to the time point image which you need F. [Playing information] column show the playing frame s time and frame number G. [File information] column show the key information of index.cfg file, it will show nothing when the file not exist.

5 H. Click [image capture] can save the current frame image in the same directory with the software as the jpg file that can read by PC. 3) Use ibox Player transfer the sync time A. Click sync time in [other function], select the file name as timesync.bin, please don t change the file name, or the sync will fail. B. Interrupt the power; insert the TF card and the time sync finished. And the sync file be deleted automatic. C. As the first time using the production, you are advised to sync time as the step above, to make sure the device time same as the current time. It will self-clock during the device be used.
