1 Celebrating 20 years of elcomukraine! 201 exhibitors from 10 countries discussed business with 7,763 professionals at Ukraine s major energy and industrial event Celebrating the 20 th anniversary of elcomukraine exhibitors experienced an upswing and a more buoyant business mood in the country. elcomukraine 2016, the 20 th International Trade Fair on Power and Electrical Engineering, Energy and Efficiency and Automation, was organized by Euroindex and fairtrade and took place from 19 to 22 April 2016 at the KyivExpoPlaza. The participation in this exhibition is the perfect opportunity to present the latest innovations of Phoenix Contact, to meet our existing customers and to find new partners. With the quality of the visitors we are satisfied. Their knowledge increases year by year. Most of our visitors come with very specific professional questions. Exhibitors of Ukraine s major energy and industrial event reported that World Bank and IMF loans have now reached the realization level. Billions in aid to the modernization of infrastructure and industry are being invested. 2 Read what the exhibitors of elcomukraine 2016 said: Mr Gleb Khropachov, Siemens Drives and Motors Siemens is active in Ukraine ever since Ukraine is a very important market for us because of its high potential, its economy, its people and because of many other factors. Siemens has more than 150 years of ingenuity, innovation in all branches of electricity and industry. Our products start with an electro-wire and end with PP, metallurgical plants. We participate at elcomukraine to show the Siemens portfolio, to get feedback from professional visitors and the market, to introduce our new energy saving products and technologies to the Ukrainian customers. Concerning the quality of the professional visitors we see a gap between the old generation of engineers and the younger one. We always develop new products based on the newest international, mostly European regulations and norms. We are fully prepared for the modernization needs of the Ukrainian energy and industrial sectors. The main target of our participation here is to enlarge our market share in Ukraine, to find new customers and to show our complete product range and our innovations to our existing customers. Mr Sergej Vitriak, AEG Sales Manager AEG Industrial Engineering is a company for electrical plants of the industry, the energy industry and transportation. We are located at the traditional location of AEG industrial facilities, the Hohenzollerndamm in Berlin. We are in close contact with current and former AEG factories. The main focus of our works are drive and automation systems, switchgear, transformers, generators / turbines and diesel generator sets. The Ukrainian market is very important for AEG because of so many energy generators here (coal fired power plants, hydropower plants, pumped storage power plants) and a huge industry. All this means high potential for AEG as there is a high demand for modernization. Our Ukrainian customers are very familiar with the AEG quality. Our main target at elcomukraine is to inform our potential clients about latest AEG technology, to promote our products and to learn about the actual demand on the Ukrainian market.
