2 THE WINERY VINAŘSTVÍ WALDBERG VRBOVEC s.r.o. Is a wine-making company, in which were successfully connected to the traditional wine-growing values and experience with modern technologies. In relation to our own vineyards the wine which has distinct variety in character is being produced. WINEGROWING REGION MORAVIA The winery Vinařství Waldberg Vrbovec farms in the wine-growing region Moravia, in the Znojmo subregion which is on the estates of three villages Vrbovec, Dyjákovičky and Chvalovice. This region is in the south of Moravia and borders on Weinviertel - the biggest wine-growing region in Austria. Green Veltliner, Sauvignon and Rhine riesling are the most typical wine varieties, from which the wine of the original certification VOC Znojmo is produced.

3 HISTORY OF OUR WINERY The winery Vinařství Waldberg Vrbovec s.r.o. was founded in From the beginning the winery there was the Agrodruzstvo Vrbovec which has a long time tradition the winery is still connected to and they continue their work. At the same time the Agrodružstvo Vrbovec processes the grapes only from their own production and vineyards. The winery is called after the vineyard track Waldberg, which is both the largest and one of the most high-quality vineyard tracks of the Znojmo wine-growing subregion. TERROIR AND THE VINEYARDS The vineyard tracks which provide the grapes for our winery stretch from the south of Znojmo along the surroundings of the villages Vrbovec, Dyjákovičky and Chvalovice. In the sparing system of the integrated production there are farmed vineyard tracks Waldberg, Slunný vrch, U sv. Urbana, Dívčí hora, Ořechový vrch and others to a total area of 130 ha.

4 PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES In the cellar complex, which is situated in Chvalovice, we produce high-quality and variety typical wines, attributive wines and also wines of the original certifi cation of VOC Znojmo using modern technology and tested traditional way of producing. The chosen types of wine are stored in the sandstone cellar which was built in There are optimal conditions for the vintage wines to ripen. VOC Znojmo is an association of noteworthy winemakers within the Znojmo appellation. The VOC mark is to ensure that you are drinking well structured, aromatic wines that come from approved areas in the Znojmo subregion. The VOC abbreviation stands for Víno Orginální Certifikace (wine of original certification).

5 VOC ZNOJMO & TERROIR SELECT CLASSIC VOC ZNOJMO & TERROIR The VOC Znojmo and Terroir collection includes the attributive wines of highest quality made from carefully grown grapes from our vineyards, which are situated to the south of Znojmo in the surroundings of the wine-growing villages Vrbovec, Dyjákovičky and Chvalovice. SELECT The selected collection offers wine which is interesting to drink, reminding you to a fresh fruit and aromatic tones. The white and rosé wines are corked with a screw cap. CLASSIC The Classic collection represents the basic's to high-quality wines. The high-quality wines of stable and interesting quality are distinctive and typical for their variety. They are made from grapes grown in our own vineyards. ARCHIVE The Archive collection offers chosen wines which can ripen for a few years in a sandstone cellar within the winery in Chvalovice. The founding of the cellar dates back to It provides ideal conditions for the ripening of bottled wines.
