18 The Consultation Process Prior to the commencement of any work we conduct a two-day consultation process in our customer service centre with every home buyer, utilising extensive design and specification methods, where all aspects of your new home will be fully identified, considered and recorded to ensure that the home meets all the customer s requirements. 21 The Assembling Process The carcass of one house unit is assembled in one to two days, including a laid roof, providing a weatherproof shell to commence interior work. The carcass is than rendered on the outside or finished with cladding or a brick wall. 22 The Assembling Process All windows and external doors are installed. Once the carcass is erected, fixed to the foundation and the roof is closed, it provides a lockable shell. 23 The Company Based on 35 years of experience, HANLO and it s sister company Bau-mein-Haus are leading German manufacturers of off-site constructed residential homes, using a closed panel construction system to provide new homes to people in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Norway and the UK.

24 The Wall Construction All material used is ecological friendly and biologically safe. All timber is replanted Alpine fir. Our timber suppliers are controlled by the PEFC Promoting Sustainable Forest Management. All timber is kiln dried to less than 15% rest moisture. 25 The Product Hanlo off-site constructed buildings offer a range of benefits to developers, starting from a much faster build time to a higher built accuracy, excellent energy efficiency and an improved interior finish. All our homes are bespoke houses, designed and finished to the developer s specification. The whole off- and on-site build process of our homes is controlled and supervised under the Hanlo management regime, eliminating the need for subcontracting further suppliers. Our CAD/CAM production facilities and skilled off- and on-site labour teams guarantee for the highest build quality.

Timber Frame, Closed Panel, Off-Site Manufacture Closed Panel Timber Frame Off-Site Manufactured The structure of a Hanlo house comprises of wall panels consisting of single insulated and waterproof rendered timber frames of interior and exterior walls manufactured in our factory who are then assembled by a Hanlo team at the building site.

27 The Manufacturing Process Each wall panel is produced in a precisely planned order. Jigs guarantee a high level of repeatability. The timber is cut accurately to the millimetre, individually labelled and cutting is optimised to save natural resources. The benefit of weather-independent factory production guarantees an accuracy and precision unsurpassable on a building site. The prime render and the mesh reinforcement can be applied and settle in a controlled and constant climate.

28 The Quality To cover all architectural aspects, planning permission and building control, we work with the BRE, Trada and UK architects to ensure compliance with all British building regulations and specification concerning safety and environmental issues.
