26 -The 2010 BIMCO/ISF Update - global supply/demand balance scenarios Cold scenario a shortage of 2% in 2015, and a surplus of 2% in 2020 for officers. Central or Benchmark scenario a shortage of 5% in 2015, and 1% in Hot scenario a shortage of 11% in 2015, and 9% in 2020 for officers. 26/43
27 A Unique MET Model in the World Piri Reis Maritime University of Istanbul / Turkey PIRI REIS MARITIME UNIVERSITY Established in 2008 Support & Sponsorship of all Turkish Maritime Sector (7500 maritime related companies) Namely Turkish Chamber of Shipping through Turkish Maritime Education Foundation,TUDEV TUDEV Maritime Training Center has been training Officers since 1996, recently been given the status of an MET University under the Higher Education Council (YOK) of Turkey. 27/43

Finance Piri Reis Maritime University is financed by 50% of the Annual Budget of Chamber of Shipping in 2010, and planned on three different campuses of a total of 136 acres in Tuzla, Istanbul, at Marmara Sea Coast. 28/43
