2 CONTENTS INTRODUCTION THEVOLVO Welcome. You are about to take a detailed look at the Volvo Volvo s next generation SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle). T6 The T6 2.9 litre, twin turbocharged, in-line, six cylinder engine delivers outstanding performance producing 272 bhp and 380 Nm torque. This extremely smooth engine features dual variable valve timing on both intake and exhaust sides and responsive twin turbochargers designed to deliver maximum torque from low and medium engine speeds. Effortless performance is combined with excellent fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. D5 The D5 2.4 litre, turbocharged, in-line, five cylinder, common rail diesel engine delivers very low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions with excellent performance producing 163 bhp and 340 Nm torque. This second-generation electronic fuel injection engine is made entirely of aluminium giving it a similar weight to a petrol engine. Add that to the variable blade turbocharger and you ve got one of the quietest and most advanced diesel engines on the market. ELECTRONIC AWD The electronically controlled AWD (All Wheel Drive) system automatically distributes drive between the front and rear wheels within a fraction of a second as conditions demand. This intelligent system optimises traction and stability in all conditions and aids fuel consumption. INTELLIGENT 7 SEAT SYSTEM The features an innovative and safe 7 seat interior configuration. At first glance the luxurious interior offers a traditional 5 seat configuration but hidden in the rear load floor are 2 additional seats.
