Command + Option + 1, 2-5 (Mac) Control + Alt + 1, 2-5 (Win) selects the different modules (Library, Develop etc.). Panels Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -click the triangle on the panel header to toggle Solo Mode (single panel). Or, Control -click (Mac) Right Mouse -click (Win) a Panel Header to select Solo Mode from the list. Shift -click a panel header to display additional panels while in Solo Mode. Command (Mac) Control (Win) -click the disclosure triangle in Solo Mode to show/hides all panels. Shift -click a panel header to hide/show specific panels. Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click (Win) the small triangle (outer edge of the left and right panel midway down the screen) to change panel hide/show options. Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click (Win)the module picker to show/hide modules. F5, F6, F7, and F8 hides module picker, left and right panels, and the filmstrip. Note: you might have to remove the shortcut from the OS. Interface F toggles full screen mode allowing for more screen real estate, roll-over to display menus. Shift+F toggles through Screen Modes (Full Screen, Full Screen with Menu Normal). Tab toggles visibility of side panels, Shift + Tab toggles visibility of all panels (including the module and filmstrip). T toggles the visibility of the Tool bar. L cycles lights dimmed (dims interface). Import Double click a folder name to doc the folders in the parent folder. Double click image in Grid view (G) to display in Loupe view (E) or, use the icons below the thumbnails. There is a File size indicator of the current import in the lower left of the import dialog. A volume can be ejected or un-mounted from your system after import (to the right of the Device name). Control (Mac), right mouse (Win) -click a folder in the Library to Import into this Folder. Tab toggles between compact and Expanded view. Create an Import Preset to help automation of import Two Important Preferences: Preferences > General >Import Options: Show Import Dialog when a memory card is detected Select the Current/Previous Import collection during Import. When checked, the newly imported photos are displayed in the Library Module. When unchecked, the photos are still imported, but the focus will remain on the last previously viewed images (prior to Import). If you add files to an already imported folder, Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click the folder and choose Library > Synchronize Folder. Folders To toggle the Flat vs folder view, choose Library > Show Photos in Subfolders or click the + icon on the Folders panel. Control (Mac), right mouse (Win) -click Folder panel header to display Disk Space/Photo Count/Status. The small rectangle next to the Drive icon in the Folder panel s header is color-coded: green means that there is lots of free space, red means that there is drive almost full, Gray means that there is drive is off-line). Click the + icon on the Folder header to choose to Display Folder/Path/Both. Control (Mac), right mouse (Win) -click a folder to Show Parent Folder. Control (Mac), right mouse (Win) -click the top most folder and select Hide this Parent. This will promote the child folder(s). Command (Mac) Control (Win) to display multiple folder s contents. Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click (Win) a folder to Create a Subfolder. Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click (Win) a folder to synchronize (import) any additional images in that folder. You can move and/or delete multiple folders at one time. 1
2 Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click (Win) the question mark on a missing file in grid view to find the original (relink). Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click (Win) a folder name to choose to Find Missing Folders. Viewing Images Grid (G), Loupe (E) - these work across modules. Or double click to move from Grid to Loupe and vice versa. I cycles between 2 different information overlays in Loupe View (content controlled in View > View Options). Set preferred zoom preferences in the Navigator panel. Spacebar toggles between the preferred Fit/Fill and 1:1/custom zoom settings. Command (Mac) Control (Win) + + or - (plus or minus) toggles through Fit/Fill,1:1 and the custom zoom setting. Command (Mac) Control (Win) + [ and ] rotates 90 CW or CCW. In Compare View (C), the down arrow swaps Select and Candidate, up arrow promotes Select to Candidate. In Survey View (N) / (forward slash) removes the active image from the selection. Photo > Stacking has an option to Auto Stack by Capture Time. Selecting and Navigating Images The Up, Down, Left and Right arrow keys navigate the Grid View. Click -drag the image thumbnail to move between folders, add to collections etc. (not the outer gray slide mount area). Select multiple images using operating System s modifier keys. / (Forward slash) deselects the active photo Command + A (Mac) Control + A (Win) selects all Command + D (Mac) Control + D (Win) deselects all. Command + Shift + D (Mac) Control + Shift + D selects only active photo. Or, click outside of the image thumbnail (in the gray area) to deselect multiple selected images while simultaneously selecting the one clicked upon. The back/forward icons and Recent Sources/Favorites lists at the top of the Filmstrip strip are helpful for navigation. When multiple files are selected in the Library module, making changes to files in the Grid view will change all selected, if viewing Loupe view, then only the most selected image will be changed. Setting Flags, Labels and Ratings X applies reject, U unflags, and P or ~ flags. Command (Mac) Control (Win) up/down arrow increases/decreases flag status. Use the numeric keys 1-5 to apply star ratings, 6-9 apply color labels (6-9), [ and ] increase/decrease star ratings. Holding the Shift or turning on the Caps Locks auto advances to the next image after labeling, flagging or rating. Renaming Files Create a template and be consistent whenever possible. Add a modifier to the append the file name that reveals it s significance. For example, if FileName.dng is the original, then FileNameME. psd is the master edited photoshop file and FileNameFLR.psd is the flattened, low res file. Filtering Command + F (Mac) Control + F (Win) jumps directly to the Filter by Text attribute. \ (backslash) toggles the visibility of the filter bar while in Grid view. Loupe view automatically hides the Filter bar. Click the lock icon (at the right of the filter bar) to lock the filter on when moving from one folder/collection to another. Save common filtering options as presets. Removing vs Deleting Files Tapping the Delete key displays the option to delete or remove the photo. Command + (Mac) Control + Delete to delete rejected photos. Option (Mac) Alt (Win) + Delete to remove photo from catalog. Custom Sort Orders Custom Sort orders depend on folder hierarchy. If a folder contains subfolders, a custom sort order is not possible unless the option to Include Items from Subfolders is disabled. Custom Sort orders are not available for Smart Collections. 2
3 Collections When in the Collections panel, tapping the delete key removes the file from the collection Control (Mac), right mouse (Win) -click a collection to Set as Target Collection. Then, using the shortcut B will add selected images(s) into the targeted collection (instead of the default Quick Collection). Click the + icon on the Collections panel header to sort collections by Name or by Kind. Control (Mac), Right mouse (Win) -click the collection set to create a collection within that set (it will appear as the default when you choose Inside a Collection Set in the Create Collection dialog). Control (Mac), Right mouse (Win) -click a regular collection to export the collection as a catalog. Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -click the plus icon within the New Smart Collection dialog for additional options. Control (Mac), Right mouse (Win) -click a smart collection to import and export smart collection settings. Option -drag (Mac) Alt -drag (Win) a collection to duplicate it. More specifically, if the collection is loose (i.e., it s not in a Collection Set), Option -drag (Mac) Alt -drag (Win) until a thicker line appear between two items (indicating that the collection will be duplicated), and release. To duplicate a collection within a Collection Set or to duplicate the collection into a different Collection Set, Option -drag (Mac) Alt -drag (Win) the collection on top of the Collection Set icon (watch for the highlight) and release. Stacking is available in Collections (Photo > Stacking). Quick Develop Option (Mac) Alt (Win) toggles the Clarity slider to Sharpening and Vibrance/Saturation. The large and small arrow buttons in Quick Develop (in the Library module) make the following changes: Exposure 1/3 stop, 1 stop Recovery 5, 20 Fill Light 5, 15 Blacks 1, 10 B & C 5, 20 Vibrance 5, 20 Changes made in Quick Develope are relative (unlike the Develop module where changes are absolute). Keywords Auto Complete keyword suggestions are controlled though Catalog Settings > Metadata. Suggested Keywords are based on existing keywords as well as capture time proximity. Option (Mac) Alt (Win) applies keywords from a set. Easily import / export keyword lists using Metadata > Import. Command (Mac) Control (Win) + right arrow moves to the next image while keeping the keyword field highlighted (this also works for captioning). To add synonyms to a keyword, in the Keyword List panel, right click on a keyword. This is also how to determine if the keyword exports. Creating keyword hierarchies allows you to apply more than one keyword at a time. Metadata Create Presets for metadata whenever possible and apply on import or at any time using the Preset menu in the Metadata panel. A blank metadata field with a check will overwrite (eliminate) existing data in that field. Use Metadata > Edit Capture Time to shift or change the time stamp on an image(s). Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -click the GPS Map Location arrow to go Google Maps in your default browser. Adding a Description in Photoshop s File Info is the same as adding a Caption in Lightroom. The Tool Bar Customize the Tool Bar options by clicking on the downward facing triangle and select the desired options from the list. T toggles the visibility of the Tool bar. Command + Option + K (Mac) Control + Alt + K (Win) invokes the Painter tool (used to spray-on information). Option + (Mac) Alt + (Win) -click to remove the information. Escape releases the tool. Click the a/z (sort direction) icon to sort ascending/ descending or vice versa. The Develop Module Interface (D) Control (Mac), Right mouse (Win) -click the gray background and change to Light Gray (to avoid underexposing). Option (Mac) Alt (Win) double-click to move from Grid view to the Develop module (and vice-versa). Navigate Collections, Recently Viewed Folders, and Favorites by clicking in the top header of the Filmstrip. Click the toggle switch at the top of any panel to temporarily hide the panel s effects (except the Basic panel). 3
4 / Backslash toggles Before/After of all panel changes (more specifically it shows the user-specified history state) Double click the name of a slider to reset it to the default values. Option (Mac) Alt (Win) changes a group of sliders name (such as Presence in the Basic Panel) to Reset Presence in order to quickly reset the group of sliders with a single click. Command + Option + O (Mac) Control + Alt + O (Win) to displays a grid overlaid. Hold the Command (Mac) Control (Win) key to change grid size and opacity Camera Calibration To set a new camera matching (or custom) profile as your default, select the profile from the list and choose Develop > Set Default Settings. Option + (Mac) Alt + (Win) toggles the Reset button to Set Default. Lens Correction Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -drag the Magenta or Green sliders (in the Color panel) to display single color shift correction. Use the free Adobe Lens Profile Creator Tool to create lens profiles for less common lens/camera combinations and the Lens Profile Downloader to share profiles with the community. Be sure to enable Lens Profile Corrections and Remove Chromatic Aberration when applying Upright modes. The Reanalyze button will recalculate an Upright correction (useful if you forget to enable Lens Profile Corrections and Remove Chromatic Aberration before applying an upright transformation). Synchronize Upright Mode to calculate Upright modes independently on each image. Synchronize Upright Transforms to copy exact numeric values. The Aspect slider (in the Manual section) can help remove flattening or stretching distortions. Cropping (R) X flips the crop horizontal to vertical. With the Crop tool selected, tapping the A key will toggle locking/unlocking the aspect ratio. Create and save additional aspect ratio preset (these can also be applied using Quick Develop). Return/Enter will apply the crop. Escape removes crop, or resets it to start of editing session of current image. Command (Mac) Control (Win) -drag (while the crop tool is selected) temporarily invokes the Angle tool. Command + Option (Mac) Control + Alt (Win) -drag (while the crop tool is selected) temporarily invokes the Angle tool and displays a grid overlay. O cycles the Crop overlay options, Shift + O cycles crop overlay orientation. To show the Tool Overlay only on mouse down, choose Tools > Tool Overlay > Auto Hide. Basic Tab Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -click the Process Version warning icon in the Histogram (the lightening bolt) to update the selected image without the dialog box). Command + U (Mac) Control + U (Win) applies Auto Tone (which can help set black and white points and increase dynamic range for flat images). Command + Shift + U (Mac) Control + Shift + U selects Auto White Balance. The White Balance values displayed for RAW and JPEG files will differ (RAW displays temperature and JPEG displays fixed, numeric values). W toggles the White Balance Selector tool. The Tool bar hides/shows the Loupe and Auto Dismiss features. The White Balance Selector Tool s sample area is dependent on zoom level. (Zoom in to sample a smaller area.) Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -drag the Exposure, Highlights, Shadows, Whites and Blacks sliders to preview clipped values in an image on a per channel basis. Clarity is biased to increases/decreases midtone contrast (not full-range or overall contrast). Use Vibrance to add (or subtract) saturation while avoiding most shifts in skin-tone. Histogram Drag directly in the histogram to change values. J toggles on/off shadow/highlight clipping preview. In Develop Module, right/control + click on Histogram > Show Lab Color Values. 4
5 Tone Curve Click -drag up/down on a image with Targeted Adjustment Tool (small circle in upper left of panel) to increase/decrease value. Escape puts the tool back. Clicking the Point Curve icon in the lower right of the Tone Cure Panel enables the placement of multiple targeted points on the curve. Access the red, green and blur channels separately using the Point curve to make color corrections and/or add creative effects. History and Before and After View Rollover the X in History panel header and click Clear All to manually clear history. Y toggles Before and After view. Shift + Y splits screen. Drag and drop states from History panel to the Before preview to compare different states in time. Control (Mac), right mouse (Win) -click on a snapshot to Copy Snapshot Settings to Before (in before/after view). Virtual Copies and Snapshots Command + (Mac) Control + (Win) to create a Virtual Copy. Use virtual copies when you want to apply process the same file with different settings and you need them to act like separate files. Command + N (Mac) Control + N (Win) to create a new Snapshot (when in the Develop module). Use Snapshots for saving different versions of experimentation (especially if you are working with Smart Objects in Photoshop). HSL/Color/Grayscale (V) Adjustments The HSL and Color Panels contain the same sliders but are simply displayed differently. However you can access the Targeted Adjustment tool by clicking the circle icon on the HSL panel, but not on the Color panel. Click-drag up/down with the Targeted Adjustment Tool (small circle, upper left of panel) to shift the color range adjustment. To access the Targeted adjustment tool (regardless of which panel is selected: Command + Option + Shift + H (Mac) Control + Alt + Shift + H (Win) changes Hue Command + Option + Shift + S (Mac) Control + Alt + Shift + S (Win) changes Saturation Command + Option + Shift + L (Mac) Control + Alt + Shift + L (Win) changes Luminance Command + Option + Shift + G (Mac) Control + Alt + Shift + G (Win) changes Black and White color range conversion. Command + Option + Shift + T (Mac) Control + Alt + Shift + T (Win) changes Tone Curve Split Toning Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -drag the Hue slider to preview view the Hue (color) at 100% saturation. Then release the keyboard modifier and set the amount of Saturation. Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -drag Balance slider to preview the color toning s saturation at 100%. Detail View images at 100% to see the effects of sharpening/noise reduction accurately. Click the exclamation point icon to view at 100% As a rule of thumb, use the Detail slider to suppress sharpening in landscape images, use the Masking slider for portraits. Option (Mac) Alt (Win) -drag Detail and Masking slider to display a B/W preview of the mask. Effects Vignetting: Highlight Priority - Enables highlight recovery but can lead to color shifts in darkened areas of a photo. Color Priority - Minimizes color shifts in darkened areas of a photo but cannot perform highlight recovery. Use the Highlights slider to retain values in highlight (avoid muddy areas in images). Graduated Filter (M) Use the Temp and Tint to fix mixed lighting conditions. And after pulling out shadow detail you can paint in noise reduction. Option + (Mac) Alt + (Win) (apostrophe) changes the direction of the Graduated Filter. Option + (Mac) Alt + (Win) -drag the Graduated Filter to scale from center. Shift -drag constrains Graduated Filter to a straight line. H Hide/Show Pins. You can always add one adjustment with a negative and another with a positive to counter balance (and create interesting shapes with the intersection of the gradients. 5
6 Radial Filter (Shift + M) The Shift key will constrain the Radial Filter to a circle. By default, the Radial Filter is scaled from center. Option + (Mac) Alt + (Win) drag to scale from the corner. Command (Mac) Control (Win) -double-click in the image area to expand the Radial Filter to the visible image area. Command (Mac) Control (Win) -double-click on an existing Radial Filter will expand it to the visible image area. Command + Option -drag (Mac) Control + Alt -drag (Win) an existing Radial Filter will duplicate it. H hides the interface Tap the Apostrophe key ( ) to toggle the Invert Mask option Double-click on an existing Radial Filter will apply the Radial filter and dismiss the tool. Adjustment Brush (K) Shift -drag constrains brush to a straight line. Scrubbing (dragging left or right) on the pin increases/decreases all attributes applied. O Show/Hide Mask Overlay, Shift + O cycles Mask Overlay colors. Option (Mac) Alt (Win) toggles Adjustment Brush and Eraser tool. The Flow slider sets speed of adjustment made with a stroke, the density slider caps amount of change. A toggles Auto Mask on/off. / (forward slash) toggles between brush A and B. After choosing the setting for a brush, save it as a preset if you might use it again. H Hide/Show Pins. Clicking the disclosure triangle to the right of Effect displays an amount slider to increase/decrease all adjustments applied. Command + Option (Mac) Control + Alt (Win)-drag will duplicate local adjustments made with the Radial Filter, Gradient Filter and the Adjustment Brush. Spot Removal Tool (Q) Tap Q to access the Spot Removal tool. Shift + Q toggles between Clone and Heal modes. A single click will create a circle spot and auto-find a source. Command -drag (Mac) Control -drag (Win) creates a circle spot and allows you to drag to define the source. Command + Option -drag (Mac) Control + Alt -drag (Win) creates a circle spot that scales from the center. Command + Shift -drag (Mac) Control + Shift -drag (Win) creates a circle spot that scales from anchor. Holding down Shift (before starting to paint with the Spot Removal tool) constrains the brush stroke to horizontal or vertical. f you click to set a circle spot and then Shift + click in a different area Lightroom will connect the first spot with the new spot via a straight brush stroke (a great way to remove telephone lines). To enlarge a spot after drawing, use the Size slider in the Spot Removal Tool panel. Backslash (/) select new source for existing circle or brush spot. Option -click (Mac) Alt + (Win) -click deletes a spot (the icon displays as a pair of scissors). Option -click (Mac) Alt + (Win) -drag over multiple spots will batch-delete spots. Tap A to toggle the Visualize Spots feature (manual controls are found in the Toolbar) H hides interface (or reposition the cursor outside of the preview area). Page up and down navigates an image screen by screen (helpful when using the Spot Removal Tool. After removing dust spots and syncing changes to others, review each image for correct selection of source information. Synchronize Setting Toggle the Auto Sync switch to apply changes to all selected images. Create presets to be applied to other images/shoots. Any Develop preset can also be applied on import and using Quick Develop in the Library module. Command + Option + Shift + M (Mac) Control + Alt + Shift + M (Win) will Match Total Exposures (available in Library and Develop modules). Soft Proofing and Fixing a Tone Shift at Output S toggles Soft Proof on and off, Shift + S toggles the Destination gamut warning on and off. Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click (Win) beyond image area to change brightness of backgound. Invoking Soft Proof changes the values of the histogram from percentage to absolute values. 6
7 A Proof Copy is the same as a virtual copy except that it adds a COPY name (the profile name). You can soft proof srgb (and this is what you should use for soft proofing Blurb books). Soft Proofing, the before/after views now show the current photo and the proofed photo (as oppose to the before image) Image Management - The Map Panel The map module requires an internet connection. Click the arrow next to the GPS coordinates in the Metadata panel (Library module) to view the image in the Map module. Option + (Mac) Alt + (Win) -click the arrow next to GPS coordinates (in the Metadata panel either the Library or Map module to view the image via Google Maps in web browser. The map will only display the images in the selected folder/collection/publish service. To see all photographs, choose All Photographs in the Catalog panel in the Library module, or select All Photographs from the Content Selector pop-up (the list that appears when clicking in the navigation area above the Filmstrip in any module). Command + 1 (Mac) Control + 2 (Win) displays Hybrid view, Command + 2 (Mac) Control + 2 (Win) displays Road Map view etc.. Plus and minus zoom in/out (without any additional keyboard modifier). Option + (Mac) Alt + (Win) -drag a zoom to rectangle on the map. Drag and drop from the filmstrip to the map to add GPS information. Command + K (Mac) Control + K (Win) locks markers. I toggles location overlay. Video Shift + I sets the in-point of a clip. Shift + O sets the out-point of a clip. Lightroom can Apply the following changes to video clips: Basic Tone - WB, Exposure, Contrast, White Clipping, Black Clipping, Saturation and Vibrance Tone Curve, HSL, B/W Treatment, Split Toning, Process Version and Calibration You can add video clips to your Slideshows and vary the audio levels for clips and music overlays. Export Command + Shift + M (Mac) Control + Shift + M (Win) displays options. Use Original when exporting a mix of images (DNG, PSD, JPEG) which need to remain in their original formats. Set an Image s longest dimension when exporting mixed aspect ratios. Save Presets whenever possible. To Export files from Lightroom and automatically run droplets (Batch Actions) in Photoshop, place the droplet in the Export Actions folder and choose Post Processing > After Export > (name of droplet). When exporting files, in the Metadata section, you can choose to Remove Location Information (as well as additional information). Edit in Photoshop Set your preferences (External Editing) for the default file type you want Lightroom to handoff to Photoshop Create Presets for commonly exported file types, bit depth etc. (Preferences > External Editing). Use Photo > Edit In to hand off files to Photoshop as Smart Object, Panorama, HDR and/or Multi-Layered Documents. Control (Mac), Right mouse (Win) -click on image to quickly select export presets (as well as Export with Previous). Publish Services Publish Services are not limited to online services, but can be set to save files to any drive to keep track of images. Add more Publish Services by clicking the Find More Services Online. Published Collections will automatically keep track of any changes made to an image since it was last published. Control -click (Mac) / Right Mouse -click (Win) and select Mark as Up-To-Date. if you prefer not to republish After making small changes to images (such as adding a keyword etc.). Consistent to All Output Modules The Content Selector helps to choose selection (All Filmstrip Photos, Selected Photos or Flagged Photos) in the Tool bar. Reorder images in the Output modules by dragging images in the Filmstrip. 7
8 Sharpening will automatically be adjusted for increase/decrease in size (for the Book, Print and Web modules). In order to save output settings with a set of photographs, click the Create Saved Book, Slideshow, Print etc. button in the bar at the top of the creation s preview area. Book Module Book module > Book > Preferences - set the default Photo Zoom, Auto Fill options and text Options. Match Long Edge matches the weight of two images by adjusting the padding to matching the long edge. Viewing and navigating pages: Command + E (Mac) Control + E (Win) View Multiple Pages. Command + R (Mac) Control + R (Win) R View Spread. Command + T (Mac) Control + T (Win) T View Single Page. Command + U (Mac) Control + U (Win) View Zooms page (or use Command (Mac) Control (Win) + and -). Left/right arrow keys move between pages (or spreads depending on view) or use the navigation in the Tool bar. Shift + left/right arrow keys moves to the first or last page. Plus/minus ( +, - ) increases/decreases thumbnail size. Double clicking will also take you to a single page. Command + S (Mac) Control + S (Win) creates saved book project. Command + Option + A (Mac) Control + Alt + A (Win) selects all text on page (or pages depending on view). Command + Option + Shift + A (Mac) Control + Alt + Shift + A (Win) selects all photos on page (or pages depending on view). Command + Shift + G (Mac) Control + Shift + G shows Guides. In the Text panel, with the Targeted Adjustment Tool selected: Drag left/right to decrease/increase size, drag up/down to decrease/increase leading. Command -drag up /down (Mac) Control -drag up /down (Win) increase/decrease Baseline Shift. Command -drag left/right (Mac) Control -drag left/right (Win) increase/decrease Tracking. Page number can be changed either globally or locally and can be hidden from pages as necessary Page Numbering can start at a custom page, or starting on the first non-cover page. After modifying a page template (for example, by changing the cell padding), Control -click (Mac) Right Mouse -click (Win) to save the modified template as a Custom User Page. Custom page layouts are available via the Page Picker. They are book size specific. Slideshow Add text breaks (Shift + Return ) in the Caption Metadata field (in the Library) to create multi-line captions. Adding a Description in Photoshop s File Info is the same as adding a Caption in Lightroom. Cmd/Ctrl + Return/Enter enters Slideshow mode. Print Use the Print to JPEG option to enter Custom File Dimensions and remove margins. Saved templates include Page Setup and Printer specific settings. Saving Metadata to files Command + S (Mac) Control + S (Win) pushes data from LR s database into individual DNG, JPEG, PSD, and TIFF files (or XMP sidecar files for proprietary raw files). To automatically write changes into files (or into XMP sidecar files) choose Catalog Settings > Metadata > Automatically Write Changes into XMP. Dual Monitors Either screen can be the primary or secondary screen when using two monitors. Displaying selected images in Survey mode on one monitor as changes are being made in the develop module on another monitor is an excellent way to achieve a consistent look between images. Normal, Live and Locked modes allow for different display options on the secondary monitor. To move between views on a secondary monitor (Grid, Loupe, Compare and Survey), use the view mode shortcut key (G, E, C, N ) + Shift. 8
