29 PRELIMINARY FINDINGS Most universities say they have activities, but when individual researchers are asked for 5-10 line summary, few of them reply... Some universities do not know centrally what they are doing (KTH, BTH, GU) It is not so easy to answer the question, since SoS does not have a well-known definition Correlation with publications is poor Funding is to a large extent related to specific applications Conclusions: Many researchers in Sweden active in areas related to SoSEng, but few are at the heart of the problem Deeper analysis will follow...
