4 Route to becoming an ACCA professional SPM Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) STPM / UEC / GCE A LEVEL / University Foundation Programme / Matriculation / Accounting or non-accounting diploma ACCA Qualification Accounting/non-accounting University degree + Professional Ethics module + 3 years relevant practical experience (Can be gained before, during or after exams) ACCA Member Global recognition in 180 countries SPM students in Malaysia who scored grade A in their Prinsip Perakaunan paper will be exempted one paper (Paper FA1) from the CAT Qualification. Through this pathway, SPM students can complete the CAT and ACCA Qualifications within three years. Option to obtain additional qualifications from Oxford Brookes University (BSc in Applied Accounting and MBA) and University of London (MSc Professional Accountancy). Visit for more details.

5 Entry Requirements The qualifications you have now will determine at which point you start your journey with us. CAT Qualification: Students must have 5 SPM credits (grade C or above, including English and Mathematics), or equivalent. ACCA Qualification: Students must have CAT Qualification or 2 principal passes at STPM (grade C or above), PLUS 3 credits at SPM (grade C or above, including English and Mathematics) or equivalent.
