1 Three Simple Steps to Real Checking Value Open your PFCU checking account. Choose from any of our great checking options. Call (208) or drop by any of our branches. Transfer automatic deposits and withdrawals. The Payroll Direct Deposit change form has all the information your employer needs to directly deposit your paycheck to your new PFCU checking account. Just fill it out and give it to your payroll department. Switch automatic withdrawals. Use the Automatic Withdrawal change form to contact any organization you ve authorized to make automatic withdrawals from your old checking account, and let them know that you ve switched to PFCU. Switch automatic charges billed to your old debit card. If you make automatic monthly payments through your old debit card, contact those companies and tell them to use your new PFCU Visa debit card. They ll just need your new card number and expiration date. Close your old account. The final step is easy with the Letter of Account Closure. Just fill it out and give it to your old financial institution. They ll close your account and write you a check for any remaining balance. Before closing your current account, double check that: 1. All automatic withdrawals and deposits have been switched over to your new PFCU account. 2. All checks have cleared the existing account. 3. All remaining checks, debit or ATM cards have been destroyed. PFCU can assist you with this as a courtesy.
