3 Welcome to the Corporate Catalog of Kalde and the story of how our small company has, from a very humble start, managed to evolve into a world leader. We set ourselves the goal of being the First Choice in the industry, which is something we ve never deviated from. More than this though, our plan was to take giant steps forward in the installation industry whilst dramatically minimizing any impact on our ecology. Naturally, we believe this is the right way forward.

4 FOUNDATION: Kalde was founded as a small company with big goals, and it didn t take long for our company to evolve into a manufacturer for the largest industries in Turkey. By the end of the 1990 s, we were already one of the leading industrial companies in the world, thanks to our experience in metal processing, and our high production and export capacity. We were also building a legacy for quality by sustaining the highest standards of manufacturing to meet the demand of the world community for PP products. ASCENSION: The new millennium came with new investment decisions on plastic piping and plumbing systems. Our goal was to grow from a manufacturer of products to a manufacturer of systems. And to achieve this goal, we successfully completed our investments of manufacturing plants of PP-r, PE-X, PVC, and infrastructure/irrigation systems. OUR VISION: Today, Kalde is one of the leading pipe and fittings manufacturing companies in the world. We ve achieved our goal of being the First Choice and our vision for the future is crystal clear: To invest in sustainable technologies, To move the world standards forward with our R&D studies, To enhance our diversity with the products and solutions we offer, To increase our effectiveness in the new geographies of the world market, To institute long-term partnerships with our costumers and suppliers, To strictly follow a Zero Hazardous Waste policy at every step of our production. Opened a new factory for the production of pipes. Listed as the Turkey s 199 th Largest Exporter. Launched the production of glass fiber reinforced PP products. Listed as Turkey s 164 th Largest Exporter. Incorporated a PVC manufacturer, Berke Plastik. Launched the production of corrugated pipes and irrigation systems. Expansion of Ball Valve range. Became one of Turkey s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises. Launched the production of silent waste water line Launched the production of panel radiators.

9 Though we are the largest and most successful company in the pipe business at home, our success is not limited to this sector of the industry. In 2009, Kalde was listed 255th among Turkey s Most Profitable Industrial Enterprises. According to another research commissioned by Istanbul Chamber of Industry in 2009, Kalde was listed 475th within Turkey s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises with $104 million USD turnover. In 2012, we ranked 269 th. In the 2009, Top Exporters of Turkey List Kalde ranked 193 rd. In 2012, we climbed to 178 th place. Given all this, if our share in the Turkish market is growing year on year, if partners who prefer our products are increasing, and if Kalde dealers are gaining ground in their territories, naturally, we d like to think we re on the right track. 11 All Kalde products are made in Turkey. We have different facilities, with a total m 2 area, all administrated from Kalde headquarters in Istanbul. Our production capacity is growing steadily with new investments, allowing us to meet all local and international customer demands. Moreover, with our cutting edge molding machines and equipment bases, we have the flexibility to compensate for any sudden increase in demand. As of 2013, our annual production capacity is tons of PP-R; tons of brass and tons of PVC. In Layman s terms, this means that if we had to attach all the pipes we produce in one year, end to end, they would wrap around the world several times. Our product range is now so vast and varied that we ve gone far beyond being a manufacturer of products used in plumbing systems and become an actual systems developer. 17 It s unthinkable for a premier manufacturer to maintain its success without constant innovation and development. Of course, the key to Kalde s success is innovation. Yes, we are an installation systems manufacturer, but we define ourselves also as a technology provider. We brainstorm and exchange ideas with our customers on a regular basis; we inform our R&D department and design engineers about the demands of all our partners, plumbers and project offices; and we come up with outstanding solutions that are specifically designed to expedite the application processes and reduce the risks. As we raise the bar for our sector, naturally we ensure to obtain patents and certificates for all our new products that are invented in-house. 19 At Kalde every product has to pass our rigorous quality control processes first: 1 2 RAW MATERIAL CONTROL QUALITY CONTROL 3 MANUFACTURIN G CONTROL 4 ABSOLUTE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION Our four-staged Kalde Quality Control Mechanism, besides regular control of production, includes follow-ups on shipments and the application process of the products. Since all our products are validated by our own control processes, naturally they have also been certified by world s most prestigious institutions of quality control. Some of these quality certifications include: (Turkey) Turkish Standards Institute, ISO Quality Management System; (Germany) DVGW and SKZ; (Spain) AENOR; (Russia) GOST; (Portugal) CERTIF; (Czech Republic) ITC and etc. The quality of our products are examined periodically by the independent certification institutions, so that at each stage of production the principle of excellency is maintained. In addition, all products of Kalde are covered by product liability insurance from Ergo Insurance up to Euro per year.

21 In this industry, we work intimately with nature, so when we process all our products, our top priority is to cause as little harm as possible to the environment. That's why we never compromise on our Zero Hazardous Waste policy at any stage of production. Not even a pound of the raw material that we use during the production process is wasted. We direct our residual oils to discharge stations so they can be used again for products at other industries. We even filter the water we use over and over again.
