5 Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects Sport and recreation: Włochy swimming pool on Ryżowa Street A complex including: a sports and recreation area (swimming pool with facilities + multifunctional workout room), administrative offices, an area reserved for a library. Hutnik Sports Club Planned investment includes: the construction of a complex of football fields (two natural grass and five artificial turf fields), tennis courts, multifunctional fields, rehab, spa and wellness centers, multistory parking, accommodations, office building (maximum seven stories.) Polonia Sports Club The project involves the modernization and rebuilding of the Polonia Sports Centre on 6 Konwiktorska Street in Warsaw. The basic assumptions include: creation of modern sports centre, the halting of further deterioration of the technical condition of the complex, adaptation to current regulations and requirements for this type of complex. Modernization includes: expansion of the football stadium capacity to 15,000 by creation of new stands on the north and south sides, the construction of a sports and events hall, an office and service building for the centre as well as an underground parking complex. Additionally, the project envisions the expansion and modernization of the existing swimming pool. Wawer a sports complex in Miedzeszyn The project includes the design and construction of a sports complex (fields and accompanying facilities), hotel, amphitheater, parking area as well as the adaptation of the surrounding area. Parking Facilities: Underground Parking on Spiska Street The project includes the construction of an automatic parking facility at 1 Spiska Street. The concept envisions the placement of the parking facility underneath the school s football field. Optimal capacity set at 400 vehicles. Underground Parking at 48 Wawelska Street The concept envisions the placement of the parking facility underneath the school s football field. Optimal capacity set at 200 vehicles. Underground Parking on Sienkiewicz Street The concept envisions the placement of the parking facility underneath the square. Optimal capacity set at 295 vehicles. Underground Parking at Plac Teatralny (Theater Square) The facility should include parking places. Other services will be allowed in the parking complex (e.g. carwash, kiosk). 6 Key private investments in progress Poleczki Business Park (Ursynów district, Poleczki St./Hołubcowa St.) Poleczki Business Park is a complex of modern office, service and storage facilities. The business complex benefits of its location in the southern part of Warsaw, near the main roads, the international airport and transport junctions of the city. There is planned extensive office (up to 6000 m² on a single floor) and service space on the ground levels. The park also offers conference rooms, warehouse facilities, restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as a hotel and a high capacity parking. The commercialization process of the project involves several stages and starts with two office buildings. The building will be erected in one of the most recognized points in Warsaw, where seven important streets cross. Unii Lubelskiej Square is an elegant entrance into the very center from the side of the prestigious housing district Mokotów. A good location, as well as nearby underground station decide about its good communication with the rest of Warsaw. Union Square will consist of three parts connected with commercial galleries with glass roofs. Złota 44 was designed by Daniel Libeskind, the world-famous architect of Polish descent. Złota 44 will be the most luxurious apartment building in Poland, based on the current market of luxury real estate. It will be located in the very centre of the city and close to Golden Terraces shopping and service centre, Warsaw Financial Centre, Hotel Intercontinental and Rondo 1. The unique shape of the building will give Warsaw a new symbol and a new dimension to the skyline above the capital of Poland. The proposed addition to the Warsaw skyline, rising to a height of 260 meters and higher than the Palace of Culture, is a light, transparent structure with a strong sense of identity and character. The Lilium Tower will comprise of an apartment hotel, residential apartments, spa facilities, underground retail area with an adjacent exterior mall, restaurant, and underground parking. It will feature roofed passageways with shops, cafeterias, restaurants and boutiques, squares and streets with restored machines, preserved paving and factory trolley train tracks. Machines will also form part of into this revitalised, vibrant space as elements of new restaurant interiors. Koneser is a multi-function office and commercial project with cultural functions in the Ząbkowska street in Warsaw (the former area of Warsaw Vodka Producer Koneser). Koneser is situated in the revitalized area of the Old Prague district, only ca. 3 km away from Plac Bankowy. The project consists of many stages: on a five-hectare area, in the historical post-industrial scenery, a housing space of improved standard (lofts) will be developed, accompanied by office and commercial space together with area dedicated to cultural functions. The plan of the building was prepared by consortium of architects: Juvenes and Bulanda i Mucha. Total usable area is 68,151 m 2, of which usable housing space remains 27,005 m 2, office space 22,494 m 2, inwestor@um.warszawa.pl, 8
