Note:- The penal clause for the space occupied by cargo stacked before shipment or after landing in the port lands or wharf and for the vessels under construction or repairs are as follows:-

4 (1) The ground rent will be three times of the 1st week rent if the cargo is kept from 4th week to 6th week. (2) The ground rent will be four times of the 1st week rent, if the cargo is kept for more than 6 weeks. (3) If the cargo is kept for more than 7 weeks and the above the same will be treated as unauthorized occupation and Port Authorities are at liberty to shift the cargo to any available area at the expense of the consigner, so as to facilitate the movement of other cargoes at the wharf. (4) The space marked for stacking cargo shall be occupied on application in the prescribed proforma and on allotment made by the Port Authorities. Any improper dumping of cargoes on the Wharf endangering the superstructure shall be removed after due notice and the cost will be recovered from the party concerned. (5) In respect of space required for construction of vessels/repairs specific permission shall be obtained in advance from the Port Officer in writing for specific period. The ground rent will be three times of the 1st month rent if the space is not vacated during the 4th or 5th month. The rent will be four times of the 1st month s rent if the space is not vacate beyond fifth month. ANCHORAGE FEES: (As per G.O.Ms.No.241, I&I(Ports-II) Department Dt ) Rs.1000/- per Day for occupation of Berth at Anchorage Port HEALTH FEES: (As per G.O.Rt.No.124, I&I(Ports-I) Department Dt ) Rs.500/- per Ship /Vessel coming from Foreign Port PORT DUES: (As per G.O.Ms.No.36, TR&B(Ports1-2) Department Dt ) Schedule Sl.No. Class of Vessels Port Dues Dues how often chargeable in respect of same vessel.
