1 CYCLE #1: THE AWAKENING OF THE HEART TO HUNGER AND THIRST FOR THE WORD (Father) Let Him (Jesus) kiss me with the kisses of His Word (deepest thi ngs of Your Word/awaken my heart to You beauty, fascinate us) for (Jesus) Your love (burning desire) is better (exhilarates my heart) than wine (the finest pleasures of the earth) Song of Solomon 1:2-3 A. INVITATION OF COMMUNION: LET HIM KISS ME WITH HIS WORD 1. Jesus, the Living Word (Jn.1) His Name is called THE WORD OF GOD Rev. 19:13 In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God and the WORD was God. He was with God in the beginning in Him was life and the life was the light of men The WORD became flesh and dwelt among us we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1 receive and welcome the WORD which implanted and rooted in your hearts contains the power to save your souls James 1:21 If you abide in My WORD, you are My disciples indeed. John 8:31 [To whom shall we go, only] You have the WORDS of eternal life. John 6:68 The Words of the LORD are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times Psalm 12:6 But the WORD is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart therefore choose life that you may live that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days. Deut. 30

2 KISS OF THE WORD OF TRUTH An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips Proverbs 24:26 Sanctify them by Your TRUTH, Your WORD is TRUTH. John 17:17 I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. John 14:6 2. Jesus, the Bread of Life My Father giver you the True Bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. John 6 Man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word from Your mouth. Matt. 4:4 Give me today my daily bread Matthew 6:11 I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser Abide in Me and I in you as the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. John Jesus, the Living Waters O Lord, You are the Portion of my Inheritance and my Cup. Ps. 16 If you knew the Gift of God you would ask Him and He would give you living water. John 4 And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take waters of life freely. Revelation 22 also Isaiah 55 and You give them drink from Your river of pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life, in Your light we see light Ps. 36

PARTAKING OF COMMUNION: YOUR LOVE IS BETTER THAN WINE You will lay your gold in the dust yes, the Almighty will be your gold and your precious silver Job 22 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Ps. 84:10-11 One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple Ps. 27:4 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. Luke 22:20 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. 1 Cor. 11:25 -Father, I desire, I m in love with Your Son the Living Word -Show me your ardent affections - Come! Express your love! - I fervently desire your affection, I seek after your emotions - Your love is better than wine, than life, satisfying my heart - Your words are bread to my hungry heart - You have become my water, you have become my bread - I ll never hunger, never thirst again - Feed my soul with more of You - I am hungry for God: for only You can satisfy! 4 CYCLE #2: THE REQUEST OF PARTNERSHIP AND INTIMACY Draw me after you! (so near/ever deeper to secret regions of Your heart) let us run together (we long to run in partnership with You!). The King hath brought me into his chamber (take me to the secret place of you Presence reveal Your beauty to me/encounter me!) we will be glad and rejoice we will remember your love more than wine (more than any other pleasures; in temptation/distress/darkness etc). Song of Solomon 1:4 this do in remembrance of Me (Jesus). 1 Cor. 11:25 A. REQUEST FOR INTIMACY: DRAW ME -Draw me, ever nearer, ever deeper into Your heart -Enable my heart to run with You -Invite my heart I will partner with You -Give me a steadfast heart for You -Take me to the place where you dwell, I want to be with You -Woo my heart with Your love -Enlarge the capacity of my heart B. COVENANT OF AGREEMENT AND PARTNERSHIP: I WILL RUN AFTER YOU -I will not draw back, but let me partner with You! C. BEGINNINGS: THE KING HATH BROUGHT ME INTO HIS CHAMBERS In the way that the Father love Me that is how I love you. John 15:9 -The King has brought me, my Lord has drawn me, My Bridegroom has called me -You have brought me into intimate nearness with You -Into the Holy of Holies, I am not content outside anymore D. RESPONSE TO INTIMACY: WE WILL BE GLAD AND REJOICE In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Ps. 16:11 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has

5 come, and His wife has made herself ready. Rev. 19:7 -My soul rejoices in You You are my one Reward -I delight in You my portion! -I will remember Your love!!! -I will not forget E. WE WILL REMEMBER YOUR LOVE MORE THAN WINE But let him who glories, glory in this: that he understands and knows the Lord. Jer. 9:23 For you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God I Cor. 6:20 Listen O Daughter, consider and incline your ear; Forget your own people also and your father s house; so the King will greatly desire your beauty; because He is your Lord, worship Him. Psalm 45 I will take up the cup of salvation I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all His people. Ps. 116 I press on to lay hold of that which Christ laid hold of me. Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead. I press toward the goal of the prize of the upward call of God Phil. 3

6 CYCLE #3: RECEIVING BRIDAL IDENTITY Dark am I (my struggles/weakness) yet lovely (In Jesus, You share Your beauty with me, You desire me even in my struggle. How am I so lovely to You? You have given beauty for ashes, comfort for mourning) Song of Solomon 1:5 A. STATE OF THE HEART: DARK AM I B. YET LOVELY. You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, a royal diadem in the Hand of Your God. Is. 62:1 to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning Is. 61 You shall no longer be called God Forsaken, or Desolate, but you shall be called by a new name: the one who God delights in (Hephzibah) and married to God (Beulah) For the Lord delights in you as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over You. Isaiah 62 You will call Me (Jesus) My Husband, and no longer call Me My Master Hosea 2 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow Ps. 51 Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be whiter than snow Is. 1 the King will greatly desire You beauty. Ps. 45 Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us Ps. 17 -even in my weakness, I am lovely -I can see Him there, hanging on a tree, as the blood flows down He says I am lovely -I am washed whiter than snow by the blood of the Lamb -I will believe your Word to me, that I am lovely -You carried my weakness as stripes on Your back, yet you call me lovely -What do you see in me that You would call me lovely? -See me before you, dressed in white, clothed in Your righteousness -I am a pure spotless bride before my King, this is how He sees me

7 -my immaturity does not affect your heart towards me CYCLE #4: REST, FEEDING OF THE HEART AND INCREASED LONGING I sat down under his shadow (shade of the finished work of the cross) with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste (You feed my hungry heart) He brought me to the banqueting table/house, and his banner over me was love Sustain me, refresh me, for I am lovesick Song of Solomon 2:3-5 A. RESTING I REDEMPTION: I SAT DOWN Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Ps. 37 I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me and heart my cry. Ps. 40:1 Let us be diligent to enter that rest. Heb. 4 Keep me as the apple of Your eye, hide me in the shadow of your wings. Ps. 17 -I will rest in Your Love, I abide in Your Love -I am hidden with Christ in the shade of the cross -I will abide in the shadow of your wings -Into Your hands I commit my spirit B. I FEAST ON YOUR LOVE: HIS FRUIT WAS SWEET TO MY TASTE The love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Rom. 5:5 Taste and see that the Lord is Good Ps. 33 They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house Ps.8 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies Ps 23 We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your Holy temple Ps.65 -Your love satisfies my heart -All that You are is pleasing to me -You are my portion in this life You are my reward

8 -I look up and I see love -You have become my water, you have become my bread -I ll never hunger, never thirst again -I feast on the bread of Your sacrifice, I drink from the wine of Your love alone -Your banner over me is love -You are faithful to feed my heart C. HE BROUGHT ME TO HIS BANQUETING TABLE D. HIS BANNER OVER ME WAS LOVE E. OVERCOME WITH LONGING: SUSTAIN ME, REFRESH ME, FOR I AM LOVESICK My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in your word. My eyes fail from searching Your Word, saying, When will you comfort me? Ps. 119:81 One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Ps 27 As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul for You oh God My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me. Ps. 42 -I am lovesick for my beloved and my friend -As the deer pants for water, so does my soul for You Father -My soul thirsts for the living God -My soul breaks with longing -I am after Your heart, this one thing I seek, show me Your glory, Your beauty -This one thing I desire -My heart and flesh cry aloud for the living God -The whole of my desire is for You
