4 THE STORY OF THE CHEAPER VALVE AND THE LOST DAY. Thi i the true tory of how Dan, the owner of a brake ervice hop in L.A., learned the high cot of aving a few buck. In fact, a little a a 2-pi differential in brake threhold preure can reult in a 200 F increae in the brake lining temperature in city driving and poibly higher in hilly terrain. The increaed temperature can caue a lining to wear twice a fat a another axle lining. And a higher temperature can lead to brake fade, which can put you in danger of not being able to top when you need to. And that a problem for you and everyone ele on the road.
