3 systems Crystal B series Crystal B ultrapure systems are multi-purpose water purification systems. The Crystal B systems produce ultrapure and pure water directly from tap water. Crystal B Ultrapure systems are available in the following configurations: Crystal B Trace (P/N CB-1015) produces water for inorganic trace analysis. Water can be used for atomic absorption spectrometry (with graphite furnace atomizer), ICP-OES analysis, ICP-MS and other inorganic analytical methods. Crystal B (P/N CB-1101) produces water with very low organic carbon (TOC) content meeting requirements of liquid chromatography methods. Crystal B water can also be used for some microbiological and molecular biology appli cations. Crystal B Bio (P/N CB-1201) system produces water with very low organic and RNase/DNase content that is intended for the use in molecular biology, including RNase-sensitive applications. Any configuration of a Crystal B ultrapure system produces both ultrapure and pure water. Ultrapure (Grade 1) water is d through the point-of-use on the front panel. Pure (Grade 2) water is d directly from the storage. Crystal B ultrapure water can be used for the most demanding appli cations including, but not limited to: inorganic trace analysis liquid chromatography cell culture molecular biology With resistivity of 18.2 Mega- Ohm*cm (0.055 μs/cm) ultrapure water produced by a Crystal B system exceeds requirements of all relevant standards (ISO 3696 Grade 1, ASTM Type I, CLSI Type I). Purified water is collected in a storage. An integrated recirculation system ensures consistent of water and reduces total organic carbon (TOC) to very low levels: <2ppb for and Bio configurations and 5-10 ppb for the Trace configuration. produced by the Crystal B systems complies with the requirements of ISO 3696 Grade 2 water and can be used for labware washing, wet chemistry methods, flame spectrophotometers, etc. The rate of ultrapure water is 2 L/min. Whereas the rate of pure water is 4 L/min. All Crystal B systems have a controller with a graphic LCD display for water indication. The LCD display provides all necessary information about system status, as well as the remaining life and deionization (DI) performance. The smart DI monitoring system also provides a reduction in running costs. A user is instructed to replace the DI only when the is near the end of its service life. If a Bluetooth option (P/N 10103) is installed, the controller can be detached, so the Crystal B system can be controlled remotely. If spacesaving is crucial, wall-mounting the Crystal B, and the use of a remote control is the right choice. All cartridges and s are easily accessible and no tools are required to replace them. The Crystal B system can be installed on a laboratory bench or mounted on a wall. The Crystal B has important safety functions: filling control tap water pressure control protection from failure The Crystal B systems include: Pre- set Deionization Final stage polishing 25L storage with an integrated Grade II dispensing system Point-of-use final (0.22 μm micro for the Crystal B Trace and systems) Ultra for the Crystal B Bio systems; and/or a photo-oxidation for elimination of organics ( and Bio configurations) UV sterilization (Bio configuration) 3

20 systems Sterifeed Sterifeed is a water purification system that is designed to produce feed water for autoclaves. The Sterifeed system produces water with conductivity of 5-11 us/cm. This is within the recommended conductivity range of 3-15 us/cm, presented by autoclave manufacturers. Specifications Water with a conductivity reading above 15 us/cm facilitates salt deposits on heating elements, eventually leading to the failure of the heating element. Water with a conductivity below 3 us/cm can attack internal surfaces of the autoclave, thusly damaging water level s, heating elements, and connections. Sterifeed water provides optimal conductivity, within the range of 5-11 us/cm, granting reliable operation of the autoclave. A pressurized water storage provides a consistent water supply to the autoclave. Many autoclaves require a pressurized and purified water supply. Some autoclaves have priming s for purified water intake, but if the water supply is not pressurized, an air gap may block the water flow. If an air blockage occurs, the operation of autoclave is not possible until the air is removed from the system. The pressurized water storage of the Sterifeed system eliminates the formation of air gaps, and ensures reliable operation of the autoclave. The Sterifeed system has an LCD display that provides information about the system status, water, and the remaining life. The water softening ensures long life of the purifying elements. These design features reduce the operational costs for your laboratory. 22 systems Crystal Clinic The Crystal Clinic water purification system is designed to provide purified water to automated biochemistry analyzers. Purified water ensures long-term, reliable operation from a biochemistry analyzer. Water produced from the Crystal Clinic has a resistivity of 10 MegaOhm*cm. This exceeds the manufacturers requirements for feed water to biochemistry analyzers. A double RO and pressurized 60L ensure a stable and reliable supply of water. The Crystal Clinic systems are equipped with a pressure regulator. Purified water pressure is precisely adjusted to the requirements of the analyzer. The Crystal Clinic has two reverse s and a high-capacity deionization cartridge (DI). The large DI cartridge volume significantly reduces operating costs. Water purified by the reverse s is collected in the storage.the water is then polished to 10 MegaOhm*cm by the deionization. The two reverse s enable a high flow rate through the permeable membranes, ensuring that purified water is always available. Pictures are for reference only. Depending on configuration, some options may not be present Specifications Purified water specifications Clinic Grade 2 water resistivity >10 MΩ x cm Grade 2 water conductivity <0.1 μs/cm icles > 0.22 μm <1 per ml Nominal flow, pure water (to storage ) 28 L/h Dispense flow to analyzer 4 L/min Dispense pressure 100 kpa Deionization life (high capacity ) 3 m 3 Recovery >30 % Dimensions (WxDxH), cm 40x50x55 Pressurized storage 60 L Tank dimensions, cm 42x42x60 Feed water pressure bar Feed water conductivity < 900 μs/cm A large LCD display provides information about the system status, water, and life. The Crystal Clinic has two water s. The first controls the of water filling the storage. This is shown on the LCD display while the is beeing filled. The second controls the of water supplied to the Biochemical Analyzer. The Crystal Clinic system automatically monitors the performance of the deionization and alerts the operator when the DI needs replacement. The DI and can be replaced by the operator. No tools required! The Crystal Clinic has a port on the front panel. Pure (Grade 2) water can be used for general laboratory applications. 22
