1 BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR A COACHING LICENSE... If you are a Certified Teacher you do NOT need to apply for a Coaching License. Contact the Athletic Director at your school. You must have an offer of employment (a school district recommendation) in order to be issued any type of temporary coaching license. Contact the Athletic Director from the district in which you will be coaching. He/She will assist you in the application process, and in selecting the appropriate level of licensure.

2 Set up a TEACH account 1. Go to 2. Under Quick Links select Certification 3. Select Non Teacher Coaches 4. Click on Apply Now to create an account Make sure you have never applied for a TEACH account 5. For more help click here: Setting up a Teach Account Be sure to record your TEACH username and password for future reference. BOCES is unable to provide it to you if it is lost.

4 Application Steps The steps to complete the application process are: 1. Verify / Update Profile 2. Select Certificate(s) 3. Sign Affidavit 4. Confirm and Sign Application 5. Make Payment
