4 The merging of the fiscal Agencies From 2001 to Nov Agenzia del Territorio was responsible in Italy for the management of CADASTRE, LAND REGISTERS and the REAL ESTATE MARKET MONITORING SYSTEM As from the 1 st Dec Agenzia del Territorio was incorporated in Agenzia delle Entrate, the Italian revenue agency This was part of a set of measures aimed at a public spending review The merging process is going to be completed by the end of 2015 The Agency, autonomous from an organizational, administrative and financial point of view, acts under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Finance Page 4

7 The land information system managed by the Agency REAL ESTATE INFORMATION SYSTEM CADASTRE and CARTOGRAPHY LAND REGISTERS real estate rights and mortgages REAL ESTATE MARKET MONITORING SYSTEM LAND (rural areas) BUILDINGS (urban areas) CARTOGRAPHY It shows the technical characteristics of the objects and the holders of real estate rights (not for legal evidence). It gives the values used for taxation purposes. By registering real estate deeds, it manages the information about the transfer of real estate rights and about the mortgages enrolment. It collects and processes information from real estate market and continuously shows the real estate values trend. Page 7
