15 MicroWEC for peak energy power station Generating H 2 for peak energy power stations is under study As far as we can see at this moment, the somehow lower conversion factor of MicroWEC is compensated by saving cost of the large pump station which is needed when the atmospheric H 2 (produced by conventional industrial-size water electrolysis stations) need to be pumped up to bar Saving a lot on safety due to The distributed nature of the water electrolysis cell Elimination of the explosion risks associated with the pump station Diminishing the risk associated with handling H 2 due to simplification of the setup of the power station

16 MicroWEC in wind energy application Electricity source: Renewable energy sources: wind-generated electricity (low cost energy production) Electricity conversion and storage: Electricity is converted by a proprietary patented system directly to high pressure hydrogen, which is stored then converted to electricity with using the same system at a convenient time Unique feature of the system is the robustness (no moving parts, high pressure, and compact modular construction), furthermore the high energy density, short (less than second) reaction time, wide capacity range 2009: 70W electricity/ hydrogen generator
