2 INSTALL AND ELL (STANDARD AND OVER-THE-RIM DRAINS) Apply putty to underside of () and drop into drain outlet. Slip RUBBER WASHER () on from below and thread () into DRAIN ELL ASSEMBLY (). PUTTY BATH DRAIN OUTLET INSTALL OVERFLOW ASSEMBLY AND DRAIN TEE (OVER-THE-RIM DRAIN) Loosen SLIP JOINT NUT & SEAL () and install onto OVERFLOW E (). Install OVERFLOW E ASSEMBLY () into the appropriate leg of the DRAIN TEE (). Apply sealant to threads of TAILPIECE () and thread into DRAIN TEE (). FIG.. Loosen SLIP JOINT NUT & SEAL () and install onto DRAIN ELL ASSEMBLY (). Install DRAIN ELL ASSEMBLY () into the horizontal leg of the DRAIN TEE (). FIG.. a FIG. FIG. INSTALL OVERFLOW ASSEMBLY AND DRAIN TEE (STANDARD DRAIN) Loosen SLIP JOINT NUT & SEAL () and install onto OVERFLOW E (). Install OVERFLOW E ASSEMBLY () into the appropriate leg of the DRAIN TEE (). Apply sealant to threads of TAILPIECE () and thread into DRAIN TEE (). Install OVERFLOW GASKET () to OVERFLOW E ASSEMBLY (). (Adjust OVERFLOW GASKET () to couture of tub. FIG.. Loosen SLIP JOINT NUT & SEAL () and install onto DRAIN ELL ASSEMBLY (). Install DRAIN ELL ASSEMBLY () into the horizontal leg of the DRAIN TEE (). FIG. FIG. FIG Rev. C

3 SECURE OVERFLOW ASSEMBLY TO (OVER-THE-RIM DRAIN) Install OVERFLOW GASKET () onto OVER FLOW FLANGE () using two strips of double-face tape (included). Apply a bead of silicone sealant to upper edge of 0VERFLOW GASKET (). Push OVER FLOW E ASSEMBLY () up flush against underside of ledge. Install and align mounting holes in RETAINING PLATE () with holes in OVER FLOW FLANGE (). Insert MOUNTING SCREWS () through RETAINING PLATE () into OVER FLOW FLANGE (). Note: RETAINING PLATE () must be installed as shown with open side facing out. Tighten SLIP JOINT NUTS (, a) to make water tight connections. a SECURE OVERFLOW ASSEMBLY TO (STANDARD DRAIN) Align the holes in the RETAINING PLATE () with those in the OVERFLOW FLANGE (). Install SCREWS (), tighten snugly (do not over tighten). The overflow gasket (behind tub wall) will begin to seal as the RETAINING PLATE () becomes tighter. The overflow gasket can be rotated for desired fit. a Align the ESCUTCHEON () with the RETAINING PLATE () and push onto RETAINING PLATE () until the ESCUTCHEON () snaps into place. UP FRONT Peel protective tape from the AMERICAN STANDARD LOGO (). Align LOGO () and press into place. When you are satisfied with the overall fit of the drain, go back and tighten all joints to make a water tight seal. INSTALL OVERFLOW ESCUTCHEON (OVER-THE-RIM DRAIN) Install OVERFLOW ESCUTCHEON () onto RETAINING PLATE (). Use MOUNTING SCREWS () to secure OVERFLOW ESCUTCHEON (). Fig.. Peel protective tape from the AMERICAN STANDARD LOGO (). Align LOGO () and press into place. Fig.. Thread TOE TAPPER () into (). FIG. FIG Rev. C

4 ABOVE FLOOR OUTLET INSTALLATION (OVER-THE-RIM DRAIN) Note: Waste outlet can be installed either above the floor or below floor. Fig.. For above floor drain outlet, Rotate DRAIN TEE ASSEMBLY () 90 degrees so TAILPIECE () faces out the back from tub as shown.
