Calendar includes information on city spring elections for those counties where applicable. Days are counted according to the rules of civil procedure in K.S.A Weekends and holidays are not counted when counting fewer than days. When the final day counted is a weekend or holiday, the date is moved forward or backward to be most advantageous to the voting public.
