3 1 DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Job title: CIS Technical Regulation & Standard Specialist; Reporting to: Executive Technical Leader; Salary: Very interesting and commensurate with the position; Hours: Full time; Location: H-ON Headquarters in Prato with availability to travel worldwide; 2 PURPOSE OF THE POSITION This resource will be part of H-ON s Leading Technical Department, which globally has the following responsibilities: Provide support and assistance to H-ON s Engineering Department for all technical issues that may be faced on the projects as specialists in the disciplines covered by H-ON s consultancy services; Approval of internal docu ments with high level of complexity prior to customer delivery; Develop internal templates for documentation issued by the engineering department to the customer on the application of consultancy services as well as internal procedures; Work actively with a role of project engineer/ manager on new projects where templates and procedures are not available (services under development) or on strategic projects (in terms of new customers or important projects) coordinating a team of engineering resources (not 100% assigned); Support the sales department for preparation of commercial proposals; Support research, development and sales departments for commercial strategy and new service introduction;
4 In the above environment, the selected candidate shall allow H-ON to develop new services (on TR&S field) in different countries, strategic in the imminent future for the Oil & Gas field in terms of product and plant compliance. The selected candidate shall analyze the Technical Regulation & Standards requirements impacting Oil & Gas products. She/he will build up expertise and company experience on specific TR&S categories, across regulations pertaining to different countries while holding a general overview of TR&S frames for a specific group of countries. Finally, the selected candidate will manage projects involving the above with the specific aim of developing new business and services on products compliance and certification. 3 RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Supported and coordinated by the Executive Technical Leader. Development of documents, document templates and processes for the certification of industrial products in the Oil & Gas field; in addition, support for management of projects for all that is related to the relationship with certification bodies and technical interpretation of requirements; this will be done through the following: Determination of the applicable requirements and full understanding of them. Establishment of contacts and partnership in countries of interest in terms of certification bodies, authorities, specialists, companies, qualified people, etc Create templates for all new documentation needed for the projects and define related operating procedures in order to determine and freeze the service that H-ON will provide in the future for similar projects through the engineering department. Maintain communication with authorities and certification bodies involved (if any) besides partners and suppliers in order to guarantee the solution of any issues, a correct delivery of the documentation and fulfillment of the requirements in general.
5 Support as a specialist other H-ON functions as needed. This will be done through the following: Technical support to the engineering department for documentation development and design review on projects; Support the sales department for new project proposals and more general business opportunities, attending meetings with customers and helping with the defining of technical specifications of new commercial proposals; Training of internal resources about new expertise and company experiences on specific TR&S categories after services and internal procedures development. 4 ACADEMIC & TRADES QUALIFICATIONS Essential Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Electrical and Aeronautical Engineers, with proven mechanical knowledge are also eligible. Desirable Additional languages knowledge is highly appreciated (Chinese, German, Arabic or Portuguese) Fluency in English, Russian and Italian languages. EU work permit.
6 5 WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Essential Desirable Familiarity with global TR&S requirements concept and capable of understanding and applying requirements to products Basic knowledge of O&G products (gas/steam turbines, centrifugal/reciprocating compressors, piping, pressure vessels, valves, etc.). Able to read and understand P&ID and general understanding of other typical engineering documents. At least, 1 year experience related to the requested activities CIS regulations Experience working with third party certification bodies/government agencies Experience on electrical system standards Experience on quality management systems auditing Familiarity with basic legal concepts and ability to understand legal implications of regulatory compliance Computer Literate with computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point) Essential 6 PERSONAL SKILLS Demonstrated Prioritization and Problem Solving Capability Highly motivated and results driven, able to deliver under pressure in a dynamic environment, assuring high quality standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to interact at all levels within and outside the company. Ability to work independently, keeping focus on the right priorities with a limited supervision by managers.
7 7 RELATIONSHIPS With Purpose Executive Technical Leader Executive Engineering Manager Sales Manager The selected candidate shall report directly to this figure for all the responsibilities above described. Potentially they can even work together on some projects. For all projects where an engineering team is available, the selected candidate shall report to the Executive Manager for project planning and resources sharing. The selected candidate shall cooperate with the Sales Manager on behalf of the Executive Technical Leader for business development and the issuing of new strategic commercial proposals.
