5 Tucked away in the most romantic and historic corner of the Cotswolds, the Old Swan & Minster Mill has been respectfully restored. Staying here is more akin to being a house guest; whiling away the hours in a comfy armchair in one of the cosy sitting rooms or snugs, lounging on a deckchair by the famous River Windrush or try a pint of delicious local ale as locals have for over 600 years. 7 Next door to the Old Swan is the newly restored picture perfect, detached Swan Cottage dating back to the early Victorian period. Set behind its own gated garden with private parking, the cottage provides 3 luxurious ensuite bedrooms (2 king and 1 twin/king). The cosy sitting room has a log-burning stove and separate dining area with a wet bar. Outside is a terrace with dining area and a fire pit leading to a cottage garden with lawn. Ideal for families and friends or those looking for more space and privacy, the cottage is also dog friendly

8 The philosophy of the de Savary Family s inns is to serve fresh, homegrown and locally produced ingredients cooked simply and with inspiration. The gastro-inn inspired menus are created by our celebrated Chef, and are changed regularly according to what s available in our vegetable gardens but with time-honoured favourite adult nursery dishes always available as well as the excellent selection of real ales and fine wines. The two dining rooms are elegantly relaxed and the bar and snugs, laidback and warm; the service unobtrusive and friendly. Roaring log fires, flag-stoned floors and fresh flowers add to the charm and authenticity of the ancient coaching inn. The gardens come alive for outdoor dining in the summer and are the perfect place to enjoy delicious BBQs or picnics from the kitchen. The Garden Terrace is open throughout the Spring and Summer. 12

11 Minster Mill has 3 specially designed independent reception spaces located in the secluded gardens alongside the River Windrush. The Malt House is the largest and most flexible with direct access to the croquet lawn and River Terrace. The Oak Room and Minstrals Gallery is suited to board level meetings and smaller parties and is licensed for weddings. The Barn offers a dramatic rustic setting for meetings or weddings. Highly flexible, we have a specialist team looking after both private events and weddings and a separate corporate team looking after meetings, conferences, training and incentive programmes. An elegant Garden Temple on the Mill Pond Lawn is an idyllic outdoor setting for all special occasions, particularly weddings. A Marquee can be available for larger parties

Sitting on the River Windrush at Old Minster, the Old Swan & Minster Mill has over a mile of superb fishing on both banks in what has to be one of England s most idyllic locations. With both fly and coarse fishing, notably for brown trout (lessons bookable), rods and guides are available for all levels of experience. Alternatively steal a game of tennis, battle at boules, croquet or badminton, take a horse-ride or work-out in the state of the art gym. Enjoy walks on one of the inn s specifically designed guided hikes which vary in length from 2 to 8 hours. Bicycles are available to hire by the half and full day. Chef s superb packed lunches are the perfect partner for a walk or a bike ride through the Cotswolds. Or relax with a spa treatment from one of our Yon-ka Spa therapists. Bicester Village Outlet Shopping is within easy reach. 24 BY ROAD: Exit M40 at Junction 8, (coming from the South) and Junction 9, (coming from the North) Taking the A40 or A34 respectively towards Oxford. Once on the Oxford ringroad, follow signs for Cheltenham A40. Approximately 14 miles after Oxford take the sliproad signposted to Carterton, Minster Lovell. Turn right at junction and travel through Minster Lovell. Turn right at T-Junction and take the second left following the signs to the Old Swan & Minster Mill. Right over the stone bridge.
