An Epiq Solution Epiq conducted on-site and remote collections, and ingested all collected data (3.7 TB), including 5 GB of provided by the client. Once ingested, Epiq ran search terms against the data set with a date filter and reduced the data set by more than 1 million documents. The data was then exported, processed and hosted in Relativity. Review was conducted over four days with a team of 30 ers. Epiq conducted the client s first and primary production. CASE STUDY Centralized Solution Reduces Costs for Large Second Request An Epiq Challenge An FTC Second Request imposed a tight deadline on two large media companies to 4 million documents in two months. More than 4 million documents were hosted in Relativity. Epiq staffed more than 250 attorney ers and implemented a multi-tiered workflow. Predictive coding technology was used to remove approximately 600,000 documents from the set. Epiq validated the results in a defensible manner and conducted final and production.
