1 Scandinavian De Tomaso tour 2015 The Swedish and Danish De Tomaso Clubs invite you to join the 2015 Sweden/Denmark De Tomaso drive around and Copenhagen Historic GP tour. This year the Swedish and Danish De Tomaso Clubs have joined forces to arrange a tour covering southern Sweden and parts of Denmark. The tour will consist of three parts; 1) Three days driving in Sweden, 2) Two days at the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix and 3) Three days touring around Denmark. You have the option of joining the full tour or just 1 or 2 parts of it. Just let us know when you sign up. The tour begins on Wednesday July 29th in Växjö, Sweden and ends Wednesday morning August 5th at Henne Mølle Å, Denmark.

2 Part 1: Drive around in southern Sweden Wedneysday July 29 th We gather at Toftastrand Hotel and dine together. As the distance people are driving this day differs a lot no group activity is planned. Those who arrive early can visit one of the many glassworks in the area. Our hotel is around 50 kms from Kosta for instance. Thursday July 30 th We leave the hotel at for a short drive to Småland s Car, Music and Toy museum. We will have lunch in the area before we drive appr. 150 kms south towards Tyringe Kurhotell. We dine together at the hotel.

3 Friday July 31 st We leave the hotel at to drive to Autoseum, Österlen s Motor and Engineering Museum. We spend the day there and have lunch on the premises. We leave no later than for Denmark, the drive is appr. 150 km/2 h

4 Part 2: Copenhagen and the Historic GP Friday July 31 st Arrival in Copenhagen in the afternoon and checkin at the Bella Sky hotel which is located just outside the city center with a spectacular view over the city. After check-in you will have the option of taking the metro (or car) to the city center, or stay at the hotel for dinner. Saturday August 1 st We leave the hotel early and drive in formation to Bellahøj where the Historic GP is taking place. We have arranged for exclusive parking and our own exibition area at the GP historic car park. The car park is a 2 min walk from the track. More about the race at this link:

5 We ll spend the whole day at the track. At we ll all drive from the car park through the narrow streets of the city center to the old harbour where we will have dinner at Toldboden Restaurant. After dinner we suggest you drive your car back to the hotel and take the metro back into the old city center to experience the evening life. Needless to say, there are endless possibilities for an interesting evening.

6 Sunday August 2 nd Sunday is the second day of the historic GP. It is also the day where we transfer to the beautiful island of Fyn, Funen. For this day you have two options; 1) Stay in Copenhagen and attend the 2nd day of the GP or, if you have had enough racing (is there such a thing?) 2) Join a scenic drive around Zealand, inkluding a visit to Hamlets Castle Kronborg in Helsingør ending with a drive to our evening destination in Svendborg

7 Part 3: Touring Fyn and Jutland Whether you choose to attend the Zealand Tour, or stayed at CHGP for the day, you will have to find your way to Christiansminde in Svendborg in time for dinner at 19:00. It is about a two hour drive from Copenhagen and there is a bridge over Storebælt that you ll pass (tax). The bridge is the 3 rd longest suspension bridge in the world (1624 meters). priserprodukter Monday August 3 rd After breakfast we leave for Egeskov Castle at Egeskov has a large automobile museum with a lot of interesting history. We ll stay and have lunch and leave around to take another scenic route across Funen and Jutland to end up on the west coast of Jutland during the afternoon

8 Depending on arrival time, there is the option of visiting the Tirpitz-stillingen at Blåvand, one of the huge bunker complexes the Germans built as part of the Atlantic Wall during WW2, before arriving at the hotel. The Hotel is Henne Mølle Å Badehotel designed by the famous Danish designer Poul Henningsen (PH). We ll have dinner at the hotel overlooking the North Sea and Mølle åen Tuesday August 4 th A De Tomaso Meeting without a good Go-kart race, is not a proper meeting. Prepare yourself for a 1 hour race at a big indoor Go-kart track, just 45 minutes from our hotel. It s time for revenge.

9 The rest of the day is free-time. If the weather is sunny and warm, an afternoon at the beach might be the thing for you. If you didn t see the WW2 bunker complex yesterday, today could be the time to see it. In Ribe, just 38 km to the south, you can visit on of the oldest Cathedrals in Denmark. It s from around 1250, and the view from the top of the tower is quite good. The day will end with the last group dinner at our hotel. Wednesday August 5 th Breakfast and checkout. It s time to say goodbye, but if the weather is great, you might want to go to Rømø before leaving and have an ice-cream and perhaps a dive in the North Sea. The beach on Rømø is more than 1 kilometer wide.
