Now, with the WAGO interface modules, users gain the added functionality and benefits of wiring with CAGE CLAMP for field side connections. This serves to properly identify the field-side wiring of the interface module based on the PLC type and I/O card type. Example, PLC I/O card part number 1746-IA16 and using WAGO interface module part number Locate the PLC type, 1746, on the left hand side of the label key chart (on the instruction sheet). To the right of the PLC type, you will find the I/O card part number, 1746-IA16. To the right of the I/O card part number you will find a key indicating which label/s are needed to properly identify the field side terminals. In this case it is A and/or A1. With this information, select the A and/or A1 label strip from the provided label sheet, and apply to the bottom and top terminal strips.
