2 Job description Job title: Division: Assistant Financial Systems Accountant Finance, Procurement & Facilities Date: April 2015 Reporting to: Main contacts: Financial Systems Accountant Financial Systems Accountant and the wider Finance team, the CIO, the CRM/ICT team, the Web team and business managers. Major objectives To work with the Financial Systems Accountant in managing all aspects of the Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting system and any other financial systems, in particular the interfaces with all of the operational systems of the AAT, including web systems, CRM, and the external interfaces with assessment systems etc. Responsibilities Assist the Financial Systems Accountant in managing all aspects of the Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting system and any other financial systems of AAT. Help resolve issues impacting the Dynamics AX system and any other financial systems. Liaise with the AX third party support provider to log issues encountered in the finance system and to ensure regular updates are provided. Maintain an internal up-to-date log of all financial systems issues, in priority order, and to communicate the latest status of all the issues to all interested parties, including the Financial Controller, the Finance Director, the CIO, the Financial Systems Accountant and all other members of the management team as required. Develop an integrated systems manual (including screenshots) to document the various processes undertaken in AX to facilitate training of new and existing Finance team members. Support the Financial Systems Accountant in executing testing required to fix issues as well as to develop new functionality on the AX finance system. Support the Financial Systems Accountant in undertaking testing in AX due to CRM/Web releases and business projects. Set up new products on AX and CRM in accordance with internal procedures. Updates product prices in CRM as appropriate and in accordance with internal procedures. Support the Financial Systems Accountant and Financial Controller on all ad hoc work and projects that affect the AX finance system. Generally provide cover for the Financial Systems Accountant.
