2 ELIGIBILITY: 1) An Indian citizen AGE: a) HMCT:- Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examation from any recognized board. Merit list for admission shall be prepared on the basis of % (percentage) of marks obtaed Madhyamik or equivalent examation marks. b) MOPM & 3DAG:- Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examation from any recognised stitution for MOPM & 3DAG Candidates (English must be one of the subjects of study at Secondary (10) and Higher Secondary (10+2) level for MOPM Candidates). c) Pharmacy:- Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examation General Stream Course with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics. Candidates passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examation or equivalent examation Vocational Stream Course or passed from National Open School are not eligible for admission, as per prescribed admission eligibility of Pharmacy Council of India. Merit List for admission will be prepared on the basis of marks obtaed Physics + Chemistry + Biology or Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics for Pharmacy Candidates. d) PDPC:- Passed 3-years Diploma Chemical Engeerg from any polytechnic recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) or its equivalent OR B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry from a recognized University obtag at least 50% marks (45% case of candidates belongg to SC/ST category) qualifyg examation for PDPC Candidates. e) PDME:- Passed 3-years Diploma Electronics & Telecommunication Engeerg / Electrical Engeerg / Electronics & Instrumentation Engeerg / Computer Science & Technology / Computer Software Technology / Medical Laboratory Technology from any polytechnic recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) or its equivalent OR Bachelor Degree Science havg combation of at least any two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, Physiology, Zoology or Statistics from a recognized University for PDME Candidates. 1) HMCT 2) MOPM 3) 3DAG 4) PDPC 5) PDME 6) Pharmacy (PH) No Age Limit. Candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31 st December of the year of admission to the Pharmacy Course. RESERVATION: Reservation of seats for SC, ST and PC (Physically Challenged or Handicapped) category candidates will be as per existg norms of the. SC, ST or PC Certificate issued after the last date of submission of Application Form i.e will not be considered for reservation and they will be treated as General candidate. SC/ST candidates of the States other than West Bengal will not get the benefit of such reservation. APPLICATION: The prescribed Application Form is to be downloaded from the Council s website from (Prt out of the Application Form to be taken on both side of a page). SUBMISSION OF FILLED-IN APPLICATION FORM: The Application Form, duly filled-, should be submitted person or through messenger to any of the aforementioned respective stitutes (Example: for HMCT, filled Application Form to be submitted to the stitutes conductg HMCT course) on any workg day [except Sundays and gazetted holidays] between a.m. and 4.00 p.m. with along with a bank draft of Rs.450/- (Rupees four hundred fifty) only drawn favour of West Bengal State Council of Technical Education payable at Kolkata. For Saturdays, submission time is from a.m. to 1.00 p.m. No document is to be enclosed with the application form. Followg origal testimonials will have to be produced by the merit listed candidates at the time of counsellg and also at the time of admission. (i) (ii) heet of Madhyamik or equivalent examation. heet of H.S. (10+2) or equivalent examation (for Pharmacy, MOPM & 3DAG). (iii) heet of Diploma/Degree (for PDPC & PDME)

3 (iv) SC/ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority as per existg rules/norms of the of West Bengal. (v) PC (Physically Challenged or Handicapped) certificate issued by the Competent Authority as per existg rules/norms of the of West Bengal. (vi) Medical Certificates (2 nos.) obtaed prescribed proforma from Registered Medical Practitioner or Medical Officer of a Hospital. An applicant should ensure that he/she satisfies the requirements relatg to Age Limit, Educational Qualification, etc. before submission of the filled- application form. The Application Form will be automatically rejected if the candidate does not fulfil these requirements. Application Form will have to be filled-up properly and completely all respect. No request for subsequent change formation, submitted by the candidate the filled- application form, will be entertaed under any circumstances. The Council is not liable for refusal of admission to a candidate by the stitutes even after beg merit listed for wrong submission of formation by the candidate. PUBLICATION OF MERIT LIST The Council will publish a consolidated Merit List as per requirement, but shall not communicate the result to any dividual applicant. There is no provision for post-publication scruty or review. The merit position will be available the website of the Council at No Rank Card will be issued by the Council to the merit listed candidates. ADMISSION: Admission of candidates to the stitutions mentioned above will be made from the merit listed candidates. The detailed formation regardg the Programme of Counsellg and other related matters shall be available the Notice Board of all stitutes mentioned above after the publication of the merit list and also the website of the Council at LEGAL JURISDICTION All disputes pertag to admission of students under the above mentioned courses shall fall with the jurisdiction of Kolkata only. PRESCRIBED MEDICAL STANDARDS FOR ADMISSION Candidates seekg admission to the Diploma Pharmacy Course under WBSCTE should possess good health and physique with sound md. They should not be sufferg from any disease, constitutional affection on body or mental firmity.
