1 Access Statement For St Georges Court Introduction At St Georges Court bed & breakfast we aim to cater for the needs of all guests in our home. We are a 5-bedroom bed and breakfast. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will do our best to help. We would like to remind our guests we are a no smoking establishment. Pre-Arrival You can contact us via phone or (fax by prior arrangement) (details below) Brochures and menus can be provided in large print by prior arrangement Our Web site can have the fonts enlarged and the colors changed it has been tested against W3Cs Our Access statement can be posted to you, found on our web page and in our rooms. There is a bus stop in the village which is a few minuets walk, and not very frequent. The main train station is 25 minuets away by car. There is a local taxi service that has accessible taxis if required; we can make a booking for you. We can take delivery of any items you have ordered for your assistance. The nearest Shop mobility is Car Park Level 10, Victoria Multi Story Car Park, East Parade, Harrogate ( ) Open Mon to Fri and Saturday The nearest equipment hire is Daily Care Ltd, Ripon The nearest RADAR toilets are in Ripon (6 miles away) in Minster Place, Spa Gardens, Wakemans House and Bus Station/Arcade Local accessible taxis are Hava a Cab, Ripon ( / ) operating 24hrs a day 7 days a week We would like you to note that non of our rooms are fully equipped for disabled users

2 Arrival & Car Parking Facilities On arrival to the property we have a drive which is open 24hrs There are no marked parking bays but there is ample room for all cars There is a drop of point if required in which you can get you car with in a 4m of your door. The car park is level, flat and gravel, you can be dropped of at a paved area, which covers the area from the rooms to the main house. There is rear access to your car once it has been park. We can assist any guest with luggage. The car park remains lit from dusk till dawn. Main Entrance & Reception The front door has a slight step which is 5 cm high The door has a bell which is 137cm high or you may knock The door is 72 cm wide and side hung We also have access through our conservatory dinning room which has a permanent ramp, and is 153cm wide. There is a chair in the entrance. A pen and pad can be available on arrival if required. Lighting is uniform as well as natural Additional keys for rooms are available on request We escort you to your room and familiarize you with you surroundings. We can provide bowls and bedding for dogs if by prior arrangement Public Areas - General (Internal) Our corridors on the ground floor are carpeted and well lit All our rooms are at ground level. The use of a telephone is available on request. Dog water bowls and food bowls are available on request The breakfast room is well lit Public Areas - WC

3 All bedrooms are en suite and no public WC is available Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe Breakfast is served in our conservatory/lounge on the ground floor. There is a ramp to the external door with a slight step of 3cm or entrance through the main house is flat. The lighting is natural and the flooring is tiles / wood. Furniture is flexible and can be moved on request. Table have under space of 62cm high and a height of 67cm (legs on each corner) The chairs are without arms and can be moved to accommodate. If you require a chair with arms please let us know in advance. Menus can be provided in large print if requested in advance. 4 We have benches, picnic benches and tables and chairs Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment We can use the conservatory as a meeting room which has internet access and can accommodate a large number of people. Bedrooms ROOM 1 (FAMILY ROOM) Main bedroom 460cm by 340cm Childs Bedroom 218 cm by 272 cm Smoke Detector fitted and emergency light TV with remote control Door width 76cm Carpeted Floor (short pile) Natural and Spot lights and lamps King size bed (152cm wide) (69 cm high) small bed room off main bed room with two singles in (92 cm wide) The bed room is ground floor with a 3cm step it is aprox 12m from the breakfast room The room is done in terracotta, gold & browns and is contrasted between surfaces The kettle is cordless Furniture is wood and movable on request. There is 74cm at one side of the bed and 52 cm at the other clear but all furniture is moveable so the area at either side can be made larger. One of the single beds can be removed from the small bedroom. Two arm chairs are in the room and a wooden arm chair There is an en suite bathroom (details below) ROOM 2 (DOUBLE) 389 cm by 330 cm Smoke detector fitted and emergency lighting TV with remote control Door width 76cm Carpet floor (short Pile) Natural and spot lights and lamps King Size bed (152cm wide) 71cm high Ground floor room with a 12cm step and is approximately 12m from the breakfast room

5 The decor is terracotta, gold & brown with contrasting colors between surfaces The kettle is on a lead All furniture is wood and moveable on request. There is 72 cm clear at one side and 52 cm clear at the other but we can move any furniture to allow more space. It has one armchair and one wooden armchair. There is an en suite bathroom (see details below) ROOM 3 (TWIN) 411 cm by 332 cm TV with remote control Door is 76 cm wide Carpet (short pile) Natural and even lighting and lamps Twin beds (92 cm wide) each Ground floor room with 8cm step approximately 11m from breakfast room The room is lemon and greens with contrasting colors between surfaces The Kettle is cordless All furniture is wood and movable There is 89 cm clear at one side 51cm clear in between and 79cm clear at the other but any furniture can be moved on request. There is one armchair and one straight chair with no arms. There is an en suite bathroom (details below) ROOM 4 (DOUBLE) 358cm by 410 cm Smoke detector fitted and emergency lighting TV with remote control Door 78 cm wide Carpet (short pile) Natural and even lighting and lamps King size bed (160 cm wide) 72 cm high Ground floor room with a 8cm step approximately 10m from the breakfast room The decor is brown/gold & burgundy with contrasting colors between surfaces The kettle is on a lead All the furniture is wood and movable There is 120 cm clear at one side and 115 cm clear at the other side of

6 the bed but any furniture may be moved to make more clearance There are two arm chairs in the room. The bathroom is en suite (details below) ROOM 5 (DOUBLE) 446 cm by 356 cm TV with remote control Smoke detector fitted and emergency lighting Door is 77 cm wide Carpeted (short pile) Natural and even lighting and lamps King size bed (160cm wide) 72cm high Ground floor room with a 12cm step approximately 8m from the breakfast room The decor is pinks, blues and greens with contrasting colors between each. The kettle is cordless All the furniture is wood and moveable There is 60cm at one side and 112 cm at the other clear but all furniture may be moved to make this larger There are two arm chairs in the room. The bathroom is en suite (details below) As with all our rooms they are no smoking If you have any allergies at all and require us to make some changes please contact us in advance and we will do our best to fulfill your request. The bath side is 56 cm high with side entry and lever taps The basin is round fronted on a vanity unit and 85 cm high with lever taps the toilet is 454 cm high There is good color contrast between the walls, floors, fixtures & fittings All bathrooms have a non slip bath mat Self-Catering Kitchen Caravans, Holiday Homes & Twin Units Touring Facilities (Holiday Parks) Boats - Narrow Boat, Cruiser & Hotel Boat Attractions (Displays, exhibits, rides etc.) Grounds and Gardens We have a courtyard with picnic benches for you to sit in which is paved, we also have a lawn garden available. We are surrounded by 20acres of our own private land for you and your dogs to get some exercise. We do ask you to respect the country code and be careful around our livestock and wildlife.

9 We have our own fishing lake, which is across one field, which you can use at your own leisure.
