As part of his role, Pierre advises central banks and official institutions on reserve and risk management issues. During his 20 years at the BIS, Pierre has been instrumental in building the Asset Management business, in expanding BIS operations in capital markets and developing the risk management framework for BIS Banking activities. Outside of the BIS, Pierre is Governor of the CFA Institute Board since September 2006 and is an Advisory Committee member of the European Pension Fund Investment Forum.
