He is also spent most of the last 2 years researching and developing products for CCL replacement in dogs, as well as, the first ever canine hip resurfacing implant system. Harry is very passionate about advancing the veterinary orthopaedic market through innovation, education and customer service. Harry has numerous United States Patents for his innovative work in veterinary medicine. Darroll Wotton, Co-Founder Sr. Vice President, Business Development and Chief Operating Officer Prior to Co-founding Everost, Inc. Darroll was VP Operations and Business Development for Securos, Inc. During his time there, he focused on achieving double digit revenue growth through global expansion, product line expansion and the development of industry first collaborative customer programs. These efforts resulted in a tripling of sales over a 5 year period. 8 TIBIAL PLATEAU LEVELING OSTEOTOMY (TPLO) Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) is one of the greatest advancements for the surgical repair of cruciate deficient stifles. The challenge over the years has been the development of optimal fixation methods. The engineers at Everost introduced the very first low profile TPLO plate that allowed for adequate fixation, as well as, easy closure. Many companies have continued to offer their own style of TPLO plates for the last decade. We challenged ourselves to think more advanced and not settle for designing just another plate. 12 LATERAL STABILIZATION Surgical stabilization of a cranial cruciate ligament rupture using extracapsular suture techiniques was first described by DeAngelis and Lau decades ago. When our engineers first started looking at the technique in 1997 the best solution available was using fishing line and tying knots. It was clear to us, at the time, there had to be a better way. Over the years that followed, our engineers developed the crimp clamp system and upgrade the suture materials from fishing line to a certified monofilament. However, we didn t stop there. We continued to design better and more ergonomic crimping tools, precise tensioning devices and introduced high strength fibers to the procedure. Our designs became the standard of care. Today, we are re-inventing again. We are extremely excited to introduce the Rotax System. 21 DRILL BITS Our customers have are accustomed to expecting only the best from Everost and that includes our cutting tools. We only offer the highest quality cutting tools made from the latest materials and manufactured on state-of-the-art computer controlled equipment. DRILL BITS The Everost drill bits come standard with a Titanium Nitrate (TiN) coating and an anti-skid tip. The TiN coating dissipates heat and reduces friction which in turn reduces the heat generated during cutting. The Everost saw blades are very innovative in their design. They have teeth that are precision ground and offset to make cutting very efficient. They also have a surface design that channels cooling fluid right to the blade. The end result is a nicer, faster cut with very little heat generated!
