As a charity, it was vital that any investment was able to reflect value for money and a degree of flexibility in the way the contract was to be costed, and indeed delivered. Capita s solution not only met these requirements but also provided us with the quality of service we were looking for in a partner. 4 4 Our Experience We have long standing relationships with both national and regional commercial organisations, both large and small in manufacturing, retail, distribution and service industries including organisations such as AAH Pharmaceuticals, SHS Group, Balfour Beatty, Doosan Babcock, Wolseley, GB Oils, Belfast Harbour Commissioners, Ibstock Brick, Carson McDowell Solicitors and McLaughlin & Harvey. Our customers in education include Schools and Academies, Local Authorities and Academy Trusts. We also provide the first private education cloud in Europe for over 1,200 schools in Northern Ireland. In health, we deliver solutions which support our customer s vision of patient focused health services that reduce costs and improve efficiencies. We work in partnership with over half of the health boards in Scotland and every health and social care trust in Northern Ireland. In the Third Sector we support over 1,700 IT users. Our aim here is to provide IT strategies and services which reduce costs and improve services. Our cloud based pay as you go computing services ensures organisation s IT infrastructure is cost effective. We have a long history of delivering services tailored to meet the needs of the energy and utilities sector including business process outsourcing, network and applications delivery and management, hosted datacentre services, DR, Service Desk provision and IT asset management.

5 5 Our Services Our portfolio of services spans every aspect of your organisation s IT from the desktop to the datacentre, ensuring you have the technology and IT infrastructure in place to operate at maximum efficiency and deliver excellent customer service. Infrastructure Services Core to our business is Support and Field Services, delivering desk side and server support including hardware and software break fix. Over 9000 incidents are managed per month supported by our UK based ITIL Service desk as well as remote, field based and on-site engineers. Services include migration, LAN/WAN provision, data management, hosting, security, virtualisation and storage solutions. We also manage and deliver infrastructure projects such as Windows 7 and 8 migration, Microsoft Lync, managed print and Mobile Device Management. Our Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Centre service is predominately built for our customers around Avaya, Cisco and Microsoft platforms and focuses on a range of technologies that allow people to connect across a growing variety of communications channels. In terms of voice network services, we are an Ofcom registered communications provider with a direct relationship with BT Openreach for BT line provision and support. We also have supply contracts with other major carriers to be able to offer low cost voice network services within reasonable contract terms, as well as providing an industry leading online billing portal. We had a challenge to meet and have chosen Capita Managed IT Solutions to deliver it. This partnership will provide us with simple to use, secure reliable IT user environment - allowing our staff to access our data securely from anywhere. The flexibility of the solution and the provider will allow us to continue to take advantage of changing business requirements, delivering a quick reliable service to our clients, and with the flexibility to support our future business needs and long term growth plans. Services include archiving, backup, , security, storage as well as cloud consultancy services. In addition we offer a private cloud with our pay as you use Infrastructure as a Service. All of the services are supported by a Cloud Systems Management Service to give you peace of mind that the IT users experience is of a consistently excellent level of service.
