5 Bareq A. Peshtaz Vice President - Wealth Management Financial Advisor James R. Carney, CFP Vice President - Wealth Management Financial Advisor Mr. Peshtaz is a Vice President and Financial Advisor in the Seattle office of Morgan Stanley. He is responsible for advising high net worth and ultra-high net worth families and institutions, as well as their respective trusts, estates, foundations, endowments and pension plans. Mr. Peshtaz, in conjunction with Morgan Stanley s Wealth Management platform, works closely with his client s trusted tax and legal advisors on all matters, including tax and estate planning, concentrated stock positions, the sale of privately held businesses, and pension plan sponsorship. Bareq graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA with a B.S. in Cell & Molecular Biology. He serves the community through his membership and affiliations as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Childhaven, Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of Development Committee at Associates in Cultural Exchange, Seattle Rotary #4, East King County Estate Planning Council, Seattle Philanthropic Advisors Network, Northwest Family Business Advisors and as a Seattle Children s Legacy Advisor. Bareq lives in the Forrest Ridge neighborhood of Bellevue with his family. He enjoys spending time with family, vacationing and enjoying the outdoors. An avid athlete, Bareq has climbed many of the local Cascade peaks including Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens. He enjoys competing in local triathlons and cycling events, including the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic. Mr. Carney is a Vice President and Financial Advisor in the Seattle branch of Morgan Stanley. He is responsible for advising high net worth and ultra-high net worth families and institutions, as well as their respective trusts, estates, foundations, endowments and pension plans. Jim graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA with a B.A. Business Administration, Finance and Marketing. He then went on to Seattle University, Seattle, THE AISTEAR GROUP 5

6 WA where he earned his M.B.A. Business Administration, Finance. As part of his development as a Financial advisor he attended the University of Washington, Foster School of Business Certificate in Financial Planning program, earning the certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER. Jim services the community through his memberships & affiliations with Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club, as a Board Member at Leave 10, as Council Member of Seattle Children s Legacy Advisors, as an Executive Leadership Council Member of HopeLink and as a Board Member of Northwest Family Business Advisors. Jim lives in Bellevue with his wife and family. Getting out of doors is a key pass time sailing, fishing or golfing. At home cooking and working with wood are likely activities. Volunteering is one of Jim s passions and he enjoys using his skills to help make this a better place for all of us. Douglas A. Webb Financial Planning Specialist Financial Advisor Mr. Webb is a Financial Advisor in the Seattle branch of Morgan Stanley. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Doug was a Wealth Advisory Associate at Morgan Stanley, providing holistic financial planning to high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Doug offered support in this role at Morgan Stanley branches throughout the Puget Sound Region. After one year Doug finished the Wealth Advisory Associate program, having completed over 300 financial plans, as well as having earned the Financial Planning Specialist designation. He entered the industry as a trader, first on the equities desk, and later on the municipal bonds desk of M.L. Stern & Co., a broker-dealer in Beverly Hills, CA. Doug later worked as the trader for Tower Asset Management, a Registered Investment Advisor, also in Beverly Hills, CA. 6 MORGAN STANLEY
