Monaco The aim of the PhD program was focused on the design, development and testing of a set mechatronic systems for medical and neuro-rehabilitative applications. These devices have been mainly developed to: - Investigate the biomechanics of subjects while managing unexpected slipping-like perturbations delivered during steady walking by the use of a new mechatronic platform able to generate multidirectional perturbations;; - Assess the performance of patients affected by vestibular diseases and/or provided with a vestibular prosthesis by the use two novel devices able to provide: i) pure linear stimuli along the vertical direction, and ii) pure rotational stimuli along roll, pitch and yaw directions;; - Provide effective solutions to neuro-rehabilitation of hand in post-stroke survivors by the development of a single-finger prototype State exam for the Italian engineering profession qualification Industrial Engineer, Section A MSc, Automotive Engineering EQF 7 University of Pisa, Italy Final Mark: 105/110 Thesis: Design&Build of a Formula SAE Vehicle's frame (30/30) Advisor: Prof. Ing.
