19 3. Set a schedule Start slowly Build up a bank of posts before taking anything live Once or twice per week can be enough The more great content, the more keywords, the more shares, the more traffic

21 5. Promote your content Your blog should have subscription forms Share blog posts via to subscribers Share via social media Use relevant hashtags on Twitter Start or share content in LinkedIn groups Recycle top performing blog posts Partner with other blogs for guest post opportunities
22 Set standards Title: Should be unique and include the target keyword. Should be under 70 characters in length, closer to 50 would be ideal. Description: The description should be unique and kept to under 150 characters. It should tease the blog post and give an idea about what the post is about. Subheadlines: Subheadlines should be used to break up copy and make it easy for readers to skim the article. Images: Each post should have at least 1 image. The image should include alt text of the blog title. Internal links: Include at least 2 internal links in each post. CTA: Every post should end with a relevant CTA to give readers a clear next step.
